I think I've played everything I'm going to play before the deadline so here's my votes for this year.

Best graphics - Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Best sound - Alan Wake 2
Best multiplayer - F-Zero 99
Best indie game - N/A
Best console/system - Nintendo Switch

Biggest Disappointment - Zelda TOTK
2022 GRcade Game of the Year - Resident Evil 4 Remake

Star Wars making a late bid for graphics as it's an absolutely gorgeous game. I'm not even close to finishing it but the presentation is so top notch I think it's deserved the nod already. The sound and music in Alan Wake 2 is absolutely brilliant so it deserves the nod for that and takes it away from a consolation award for Zelda. The industry continues to make nothing on the multiplayer front that really interests me so nothing there Edit: I've just been reminded of the brilliant F-Zero and also Street Fighter. Indie, the only game I remember playing that qualifies is Sea of Stars but I don't love it enough to give it the automatic nod and tbh I don't think I'll finish it. I also have a sneaking suspicion that if I played Jusant I would prefer that so if it qualifies it's probably where my vote would go. I've been a big critic of the Switch but I feel it's almost undeniable that it's won the year of the 3 manufacturers as the Nintendo cycle delivers up it's one great year in every 5. The shock in my noms is clearly TOTK for disappointment. Obviously I love it but the choices Nintendo made have left me cold on it which is such a massive contrast to BOTW. Funnily enough if it weren't for RE4R it probably would take my GOTY. RE4R does exist though and Capcom are gods so it rightly takes the top spot. An absolute masterpiece.

I'm not doing categories, but my GRcade Game of the Year is Tears of the Kingdom, so please count that vote. Thanks. :wub:
