Whichever one of you wins, just enjoy the prize yourself. There's no point in trying to be a nice guy now. It smacks of trying to earn votes, and you make everyone else feel compelled to do the same to avoid looking like a selfish dick.

Actually, I'm just trying to persuade Falsey to do it so I win some money. :shifty:

I don't give a strawberry float if other people want to share and I don't give a strawberry float if I win or not, my aim was to not go out before the final and Heaty helped me achieve that yesterday. In fact I'd wager that Falsey's got this one sewn up already, or will have in the non too distant future. I just like the other finalists enough to be happy to drop them a share of the prize money if the miraculous happens and I get the win. Please note that if I come second, you're not getting any of it.

I doubt anyone will see it as trying to win votes either, the point of Big Brother is to have people arguing, not being best pals and sharing winnings. If anything, we're only enhancing the chances of anyone willing to buck the trend. Which is a bit counterproductive now that I think about it. :fp:

But why say "if I win, I'll share the prize" at all? Why not just wait to see if you do win, and share it if you do, if that's what you want?

Explain to me why anyone would announce this before the game's over.

Well in my case it was because other people had mentioned it and I thought it was a good idea since we've spent two weeks in here together and I do quite like you guys. I can't speak for DR or MHTL.

I'm not really sure why you're upset. The other two said they'd be happy to share winnings because they've enjoyed their time in the house. I agreed with this and said I'd be up for it as well(but if I win, maybe I won't. strawberry float you all). Rather than being a genuine expression of slightly-creepy online friendship, this is apparently a tactic to convince the "voting public" to vote us to win, or pressure everyone else to do the same? It might very well be that one or all of us is trying to win votes(I personally am not thick enough to think that it would), but that's an awfully cynical worldview to which I don't subscribe.

The only reason I said it before is because I don't expect to win, so if I said I would have done that after, people would just go "Oh, you say that now you're out the house..." and I wanted it to be a statement of how much I've enjoyed this.

Personally, I can't believe Falsey hasn't agreed too. What a selfish dick.

Back to probable winners, I'd be shocked if Falsey doesn't run away with this to be honest. The problem is that we're all reasonably normal blokes who don't really do much outside of our daily life. Falsey vs. Staydead provided great entertainment because it was exactly the kind of thing that's likely to happen on the forum anyway, and has happened in the time before this game started.

If I'd started a raging row with someone, would it really have been entertaining or would it just have looked forced as strawberry float and made it look completely obvious that I was trying to be more interesting for the sake of the game? It would have been gooseberry fool.

Pretty much what Cora said. A lot of us just aren't that argumentative type who'll get into giant bustups and get under people's skin. But c'est la vie. I never got nominated by the house once, so that's pretty much a big win for me, as I'm going to take that as everyone wanting me around rather than knowing I'm a non-threat and couldn't possibly win it.

It's been awesome though, and Mocker's run an excellent game with some pretty sweet tasks. And actually getting us locked out the forum was a brilliant thing to do.

You're over the age of 12? Shame you don't show it in your spelling. ;)

In all seriousness though, why such hate for wrestling? It's something that DR touched on earlier in the thread. It's bizarre.

I could never get into F1. I tried really hard when I was about fifteen for the second half of a season but my God it's duller than I am. Who won?

I don't hate it at all, used to love it when I was younger. Ultimate Warrior was my fave. It just makes me laugh when people take it so seriously. Just not my thing, I guess.

Alonso, Raikonnen, Schumacher.

Its actually one of the most exciting forms of motorsport around these days tbh. This season especially has been just amazing.

I find motorsports in general to be incredibly gooseberry fool, perhaps that's my problem. As hypocritical as it sounds given what I just said to MHTL about wrestling, I don't know how it can be exciting. Especially the ones where people are just racing around a track all the time. By lap 30 I'm usually comatose.

I see. Fair enough. I got the impression you really didn't like it from earlier posts.
