GRcade Decides... What Do I Buy With My Nintendo Voucher?

Last May to get The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom cheaper than the £60 Nintendo were asking for it I naturally bought a £84, good-for-two-games voucher. I assumed at least one game released over the next twelve months would be worth using the second voucher on and frankly, that game should have been Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door but as that is set for release after my voucher expires Nintendo decided to break my heart and not allow that to happen.

Looking at the list of available games I can buy a voucher with, and assuming Nintendo aren't going to suddenly release F-Zero GX in the next two months, I have narrowed it down to the following:

- Super Mario RPG
- Pikmin 4
- Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp
- New Pokémon Snap
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Make your case for any of the above five games (or a completely different game if you want) and vote to tell me what to do.

Whichever game wins the vote I will purchase!

Even though Thousand Year Door releases after it expires, can't you use the voucher now to pre-order it?

Believe me I tried. It comes up with a pop up saying vouchers can't be used on pre-orders for games that release after the voucher actually expires. Pure Nintendo.

The bastards. I wonder what they would do if you used it on a game that was due to release before it expires, but it then gets delayed to a date after it expires?

I've not played any of those but they all look to be decent. I voted for Mario RPG 'cos that sounds like it'd be fun.

Pikmin 4, for sure. The best pikmin game they've ever made, for my money. Lots of content and charm.

Pikmin 4, without doubt. Advance Wars a strong second place.

I really enjoyed Mario RPG but if you have played the original it might be too familiar.

Second vote would be for Advance Wars, again tho, if you already played the games before it might not appeal to you.

I have voted for Fire Emblem 3 houses..... but Pikmin 4 is also very very awesome, I dont think you can go wrong with either

I don’t think you can do wrong with any of them really.

Advance Wars and Fire Emblem is pretty long and perfect if you like turn based strategy games. Super Mario RPG is basically what it says on the tin, a RPG.

Pikmin real time strategy game of sorts.

Pokémon Snap I haven’t played properly yet but my wife loves it. I don’t think I will play it properly so that goes to the bottom of the list.

3 is the series high imo, 4 is still very recommended though

I'd go with Pikmin.

Those games were always fun.

The only one of these I've got to playing yet is New Pokémon Snap - I sank around 90-ish hours in, saw the credits etc. Absolutely adored the original and despite not keeping up with the franchise since Gen 1 I hold similar feelings for this.
