There's 6 or 7 Chipotle in London, which I suppose is nothing when compared to McDonald's and Pret...which are almost on every street. I remember someone asking me once "Where's the nearest Pret" and I think I replied with 'Walk in any direction for 10 minutes, you'll definitely see one'. It's a bit of a running joke.

We don't have that Pret malarky over here at all, literally have no idea what it is.

I remember being in Sydney and I could see 5 McDonalds from a street corner... MENTAL. :lol:

It seems Photek is using this thread just to show off where he has been.

Pret is all over the place in New York as well. They've really taken to it, for some reason.

McDonalds is pure gooseberry fool. What is wrong with you people?

Sydney is absolutely shite btw.

I voted Nando's but to be honest Nando's and Pizza Express aren't 'fast food' in the same way McDonald's and KFC are.

Honestly my favourite thing to eat in the world.
If I'm out in reading, I'm getting a burrito.

We were out for a meal on Saturday night, and on the way back of the car park... Got a burrito to go. :datass:

Not sure how Krispy Kreme made the list and Gregg's didn't. I'm guessing that must be down to how they originally defined fast food as you guys seem to have Gregg's everywhere or at least everywhere I've been in England. Maybe people are just ashamed to admit their love of a sausage roll?

I could almost understand you saying something like that if you lived in Offaly and the best local restaurant was the canteen at the cattle mart but Dublin's overflowing with great restaurants.

Also, if you lived your country you'd have made the case for Supermacs. The food is both tasty and tempting.

I've tried like 50 Burrito places around Ireland, most in Dublin and while some come close to Chipotle (Suburrito is a good example) they simply aren't as good.

Supermacs is actually amazing, plus most have Papa Johns Pizza in them.

Subway is the best of that bunch.

Nandos and pizza express are not fast food.

I don't know about Chipotle in the US, but Chipotle in the UK is pretty meh

I wouldn't class their food as disgusting by any means, it certainly isn't going to receive a Michelin star at any point in the near future but as a relatively cheap, quick occasional meal then its perfectly fine.

Yea mcdonalds etc. isn't as bad as some make out. I think it is a pathetic form of snobbery more than anything else. It isn't the greatest, but every so often is isn't bad, and being all "Oh I wouldn't go anywhere near it" just to me at least seems to be a "well I'm better than that" sort of a statement.

still got a valid student card too, so usually get a chicken mayo or cheeseburger to go along with it. Always get drawn into the McDonald's Monopoly too. Tried to get rid of a Big Mac, chocolate muffin, sundae and medium drink coupons the other day as they're expiring soon, but they didn't ask for them and I forgot to give them in. I'm on a slippery slope. :dread:
