It's become an xmas staple at my parents' house. Bloody lovely it is, too.

Cauliflower shouldn't be anywhere near a plate, let alone one set aside for the glory of a Christmas meal.

I do enjoy a good Christmas dinner but when I think about it, I'm pretty sure it's literally the only time a year I eat turkey.

What about Pigs in Blankets?

Them too.

I imagine anyone who picks goose gets from one end of the table to the other in a horse-drawn carriage.

Goose and class is an odd one. I've never eaten it but my dad ate it all the time as a kid as his aunt kept geese.

I can't recall the details - but I'm sure I read somewhere that Goose/Turkey have switch Rich/Poor association throughout last couple of hundred years.

I also recall that Bob Crochet family in Muppet Christmas Carol where having goose, and the expensive bird Scrooge buys at the end is a turkey. So there's that.

Pheasant though. That's where it's at.

How are people not having both?!

Jupiter is in your sun sign this week, making it pretty crowded in there, what with Jupiter being the largest of the planets and all.
