I can't decide between the 80's or 90's, I was born in 1981 but probably didn't really experience much of 80's life until I was old enough to remember it so there's more 90's stuff that I fondly remember.

I guess it's the decade of most peoples teens that holds most nostalgia.

The eighties. At the time I didn't realise how amazing they were. If I had a time machine I think I would like to have tried the 60s or 70s though, but maybe in the US rather than the UK. They seemed like great years.

I think so too. I think there are very few people who will disagree with this (and mainly it will be those who had a horrible time). 80s were still the best though because of the music.

If you picked the 70s then if it was gooseberry fool at least you'd only have a few years to wait until the 80s. ;)

Let's face it, we'd all gooseberry fool ourselves without internet.

If I could go and have a two week holiday in one of them, I'd plump for the 60s.

I've voted for now. Because all of the things that people have said make the other decades special still exist.

90s, such a positive decade.

Great bands: Nirvana, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Chili Peppers, Stereophonics, Blur, Pearl Jam, Massive Attack, Manic Street Preachers, Prodigy all formed or hit their stride in this decade.

Sega went from MegaDrive to Dreamcast in the space of 9 years, imagine that kinda leap now.

People who didn't vote for the 1980'd were obviously unfortunate enough to not be alive during the 1980's as it had the Spectrum series of computers and The Mysterious Cities of Gold cartoon so argument won right there.

Also, sitting in my car waiting for the wife, St Elmo's Fire playing on the radio.
(For clarification, this didn't happen in the 80s, but the song is from then).

Hey, Britain made some mighty cars during the 80's.
They just didn't like sticking around into the horrible 90's :shifty: .

The 90s were all about Japanese cars, Subaru, Toyota and Mitsubishi absolutely dominated WRC.

All decades have their bad spots/things going on, but I think the 90s probably saw one of the best pushes forward for human society.

Are we all in agreement that the 70s were an absolute abortion of a decade?

90's for me

When football wasn't strawberry floated, players played for the love of the game, Sky hadn't ruined the game, and Villa were half decent :shifty:
Euro 96
France 98
Britpop
Leaving school.
The Dreamcast
Online gaming
The internet.

Anyone who says anything else is wrong.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.
