I went for Barbie Girl mostly since it's the only song on the list I've owned at some point having once owned Aqua's first album.

I refuse to vote for any of them, awful list.

By refusing to vote you're essentially putting your support behind Barbie Girl as the best song of a decade :dread: This can't be allowed to happen.

It’s your fault for splitting the vote by going for Cher.

To be fair that list looks like Frank's ideal night on Rockband.

How can I split the vote if I was the first person to? It's everyone that came after me that's the problem

Don’t pass the buck, take responsibility for what you have done.

Shocking list of songs, had to go with Perfect Day in the end.

There are a few good examples of playing the ego game though - reverse the direction of the lyrics so the singer sounds like their really up their own arse:

"Everything you do, you do it for me."

"Every step you take, every move you make
Every single day, every time you pray
You'll be missing me"

"You will always love me"

Cracking stuff.

Perfect Day's the worst one on the list, mauls a classic.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to vote for Bryan Adams :shifty:

This poll will be closed at some point tomorrow.

Is GRcade actually going to declare Barbie Girl the best single of the 90s?

Not much love for Wet Wet Wet which I went for. That's a good song. Admit it! Terrible list, though.

The Troggs bank balance agrees with you, but I’m not sure anybody else does.

One other person voted for it to be fair. Marty Pellow has a lovely voice.

Edit: And it's obviously better than strawberry floating Barbie Girl. What the gooseberry fool has happened there?

Maybe Marti Pellow is a member here?

You want an early 80s song included on a list of 90s songs?

Yes. It's that good.

I misread the heading.

I was going to tactically vote to prevent Barbie girl from winning but that would mean voting for Believe which is equally as terrible.
