Goose and class is an odd one. I've never eaten it but my dad ate it all the time as a kid as his aunt kept geese.

I can't recall the details - but I'm sure I read somewhere that Goose/Turkey have switch Rich/Poor association throughout last couple of hundred years.

I also recall that Bob Crochet family in Muppet Christmas Carol where having goose, and the expensive bird Scrooge buys at the end is a turkey. So there's that.



Pheasant though. That's where it's at.

I've eaten pheasant, venison too. I think my dad has friends that go shooting.

One year mum gave us pheasant, duck AND goose in one serving, it was.strawberry floating amazing.

The next year dad ruined Christmas by being pissed and.complaining he got.given gravy when he loves the stuff. We didn't see him for 2.days. banana split.
