I cannot wait for Christmas. Had a low key one last year cuz I was working and we went full overboard with New York the year before. Back to standard this year.

I both love and hate Christmas in equal measure.

I'll tell you what I do hate. The latest Boots advert I saw on TV the other day, with some awful cover of "I wish it could be Christmas every day", replacing Christmas with summer, playing over it.

I can only imagine it's even more insulting to the staff, who are probably already having to deal with the Christmas build up, there.

224 votes so far? Has a mod been messing around with the poll or are the bots now voting?

Anyway, the latest GRcade approved Christmas dinner is:

Turkey with stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and gravy. No veg on a GR dinner!

I also approve and am glad that there's lots and lots of gravy to keep Hexx away.

Roast potatoes transcend the definition of a vegetable, specially when cooked in goose fat and juices from the meats :datass:

While potatoes are technically a vegetable, they are rarely counted as one when we are talking about healthy eating - they are not part of your "5 a day" for instance. It would be stretching credibility to say that your goose fat roasted potatoes are part of your "veg".

Goose fat roasted potatoes are a vital part of vegging out, though.

GRcade’s official Christmas dinner is Turkey, with stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes and gravy.

By popular request (a single PM I received), we now need to decide on what is the correct way to pronounce “scwun”. This is a serious business, wars have been fought over less.

So GRcade, how do you say it?
