Hey guys.

Hopefully you'll have seen and read the general E3 coverage topic by now. - t:grcade--e3-2017-our-coverage?f=2&p=4138868#p4138868

With us being less than two weeks out and with the conference times mostly confirmed I think it's time to start putting together our E3 coverage team!
So the proposed schedule for the post-mortems will be as follows.

Conf - Stream Time and length - Proposed Recording Time

Saturday

Post-Mortem:(Cheeky, Dragon, Pedz, Corazon) (FULL) Reserve (Kinopio)
GRcade LIVE: (Cheeky)

Sunday
Microsoft - 22:00 (1.5hrs?) - 17:30 Monday
Post-Mortem:(Cheeky, Dragon, Corazon)(FULL)
GRcade LIVE: (Cheeky, Venom)

Monday
Bethesda - 05:00 (1hr?) - 19:30

Post-Mortem:(Karl, Dragon, Qikz?)
GRcade LIVE: NO LIVE SHOW

Ubisoft - 21:00 (1.5hrs?) - 23:00
Post-Mortem:(Cheeky, Pedz, OrangeRakoon)(FULL)

GRcade LIVE: (Cheeky, Pedz)

Tuesday
Sony - 02:00 (1.5hrs?) - 18:30 (May go back to 13:00)
Post-Mortem:(Cheeky, )
GRcade LIVE: (Cheeky)

Nintendo - 17:00 (0.5hrs?) - 21:00
Post-Mortem:(Cheeky, Pedz, OrangeRakoon, Karl, Jazzem)(FULL) Reserve (Qikz)
GRcade LIVE: (Cheeky, Karl, Jazzem)

All you need is Mumble and to be able to watch the conference before we record. You don't need to have an amazing knowledge of the industry or anything so don't worry about that. It's more of an informal chat than serious business.

I'm looking for 3-4 participants in each post-mortem(Including myself). If anyone interested can say so in the thread I'll put you in the list before I confirm the line-up and reserve participants. If you only want to do a specific show, then you'll get priority over someone who wants to do multiple shows. This is to ensure as many people as possible get a chance to take part.

Please note that the times here are provisional, based on estimated conference running times, and the schedule we used last year. It is open to discussion and amendment to meet the needs of participants as much as possible.

GRcade LIVE will be a short 15 minute live segment on our Twitch channel before and after each conference. We'll be discussing our predictions and our immediate reactions to the shows.
If you want to take part in this, then say so in the thread (Make sure I know it's for LIVE) and I'll add you to the list. As with the post-mortems the final line-up will be decided by myself.

So let me know guys.

EDIT: Here's last years videos to get some idea of what we got up to: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... xl13FUgRO_

I can take part in any post mortem, but the live stuff is more tricky, with the kids. So yeah, I'd like to take part in the Nintendo one, and then be back up for the others.

I think that I'll only be able to take part in the EA one because of work :(

I'd be up for post-mortem-ing Nintendo if you'd want me, although it'd have to be in the evening due to work.

I'd probably be looking at 7pm for recording the Nintendo one. Though I can move it around a little if necessary. I'll put you down for it just now though.

There is. I may or may not cover it depending on time and interest.

Still plenty of spaces available guys, so let me know if you want to take part! It can't happen without you!

It's good to know these are going on this year. How will the Live pre & post show streaming work, you are live to camera and others speak to you on Mumble?

Cheeky, I could do Live on the Nintendo one, if you'd have me.

Also, we could actually restream the conference via Twitch and have people watch via us, couldn't we? Then we could actually offer some commentary too. If you wanted. Dunno if you've considered that already. Might work well if Live ends up being just you or just us two, as we're pretty mild mannered and can probs resist the urge to scream over the top of it. ;)

I like that idea, it would allow some good chat along with the twitch chat for people to use too.

Hey guys. Not at home today so won't get a chance to update till tomorrow.

To answer a few questions though...

Venom: Yes the Live aspects will be me on camera with the others on Mumble.

Karl: The plan for the live segments is to have the pre-show chat, then stream the conferences as well. I'm going to do a test run of that at some point this week. Probably on my own channel when retro Mondays is being streamed. I'm not planning on doing any live commentary over it. I'll be too busy taking notes and watching it myself. Plus we run into the problem of everybody being out of sync with the actual conference. So you end up with some people being ahead of others and it ends up being a confusing mess with reveals being ruined. So just pre and post show commentary.

Errkal I am looking at integrating some form of audience participation. Even just getting people to comment on the show on twitter with a hashtag, or picking comments from the thread.

I'll say more tomorrow once I've had a chance to properly update the thread.
