GRcade Fantasy Football 2012/13

I've probably been daft in only selecting from 6 teams to begin with, but looking at the fixtures I fancied these guys to bag big points this weekend.

GK: Hart (Kenny)
DF: Terry, Lescott, Cole (Givet, Hanley)
MF: Adam, Faurlin, Taraabt, Toure (Kalou)
FW: Carroll, Johnson, Zamora

Why is everyone going for Andy Johnson.

As a QPR fan I can't say how underated Faurlin is. I think he is as good as Adam, if not better.

And now it's time to take Shane Long out of my Championship team

I like the fact everyone is going for Odemwingie as well, as if this season will be EXACTLY the same as last season!

Considering his career has been littered with great season followed by terrible season the odds are against him.

I've got Johnson... but mostly because he's the only decent striker at that price. Might take a risk on Norwich's Morison for a bit cheaper instead.

As a QPR fan I can't say how underated Faurlin is. I think he is as good as Adam, if not better.

I've never even seen the guy play to be honest. I got him because I think QPR will win and I could just afford him. I looked at a few of the teams on here and there is a lot of class but the benches seem to have players that will barely play. I'm hoping that I've got a good balance here.

Cos hes cheap, likely to play a lot and in a decent team. Plus, hes been doing well in preseason.

A lot of people seem to be going for Tarrabt, I think he's a bit overpriced to be honest. There's plenty of better/more consistent players at the same price or cheaper, and now that he's a small fish in a big bowl - going up against much better opposition, I don't think he'll be able to replicate his form from last season.

When's the last chance to change squads?

You have until Saturday morning, and the decision on weekend games will be made tomorrow I think...so plenty of time in between to take players out.

Final bump. Premier League starts tomorrow. :arrow:

He is the most frustrating player I've ever watched. Half the time he'll just give up for the entire game if the first trick he tries doesn't work out. Looks great in youtube compilations, but not a player I'd want in my team (which is handy since we sold him). I honestly think he'll flop in the premiership.

Which is probably a good reason to put him in your team, as my predictions are usually absolute gooseberry fool

debating on whether to pick Clichy or whether he will be just back-up for Kolarov?

Also still tweaking my strikers not too sure on Odemwengie or Long?

Right done some tweaking and took a couple of gambles and overall i think I'm quite pleased with the team.

Now just gotta hope it all pays off this season!

So is Van Persie playing this weekend or not? :shifty:
