Who is doing this? Are you doing the Phones4u (previously Texaco) one too?

Also is there going to be a predict league this year?

I dont mind making a new Fantasy Football 12/13 Thread for those wanting to do it. Doesn't seem to be anywhere near the interest as there was last year....

Might be a good idea if you think it will generate some extra interest.

I'm really up for it this season. This years my year 8-)

I got board of this because of the necessity of changing the team week in week out in order to stand any chance of doing well. Also its pretty sad watching a match, your own team even and getting uncontrollable glee when a player on the pitch scores or gets an assist and gets you points on the fantasy footy, even when its against your team. That and it takes even more attention from the rest of the team who perform excellently for the win but get overshadowed due to not tapping the ball in at the end.

Furthermore quite often the team starts picking itself and a lot of people end up with similar teams. That and last year the servers crashed for the whole day leading up to the KO.

Guess its all better than betting real money on such statistics. Probably in.

I'm in again. Does the league just carry on from last season or does a new one need to be set up?

I reckon it'd be worth starting a new thread just to refresh it all for new people and everything, but that's just my thoughts.

Done my team. Then deleted it. Start over again tomorrow. Probably end up rushing it Saturday morning hungover and have Anichebe and Ameobi up front.

done my team, also for anyone on android there are a few apps that you can use on your phone instead of going on the site, they also have news updates which is quite handy.

I was completely set on on my team after about three thousand drafts and then Van Persie signed for United.

Yes. If they click on your team and go to Leagues, they can see all the leagues you're in.

This appears to have happened again.

Managed to get my team sorted, but keep refreshing to allow me to select the captain.

Yep. I had all day yesterday to do my team and didn't. :fp:

Edit - I seen to be having some success with the mobile site. Don't tell anyone though.

Just realised I had Pilkington as my captain :fp:

Good thing I realised now and changed it!

it seems to have sped up now, just checked my team though and i have 5 players possibly out, i dont want to make any changes though. Let's hope colocinni and walcott pull through.

Think it's RvP as Captain for me this week.

Small note- the Guardian has "Squad Sheets" of who they expect to play which can be useful as you get used to who starts and who doesn't.

Managed to set my team up this morning. Won't be running the football league one this year, but if anyone else wants to, feel free.
