Anyone see Vitor get his soul snatched by Gastelum? He strawberry floating straight up killed him

Rose was really hot when she had hair. RIP hair :(

The Fight Night was a fun card, one of the prelims had an incredibly nasty head collision where one dude got concussed to hell whilst the other ended up bleeding like a faucet for three rounds.

Anderson Silva vs Kevin Gastelum confirmed for 212.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Gastelum win that, unless Anderson gets back on the dick pills.

Reports going around that Mayweather v McG is booked for June 10th. Take that with as much salt as necessary

Aw god part of me would love it to happen even though it would be an absolute joke.

Yous seen the video of McGregor sparring Chris Van Heerden? Man's basically the epitome of journeyman boxer compared to Mayweather and McG still looks like an amateur at times.

FM's the greatest defensive boxer of our era, love the amount of comments on Facebook and the like that say McG would KO him with one shot

Wow the early weigh-ins for Rumble and Cormier :slol: :fp:

People are claiming that to make the 205 limit he pushed down on the towel. Not sure how he lost a pound in like 1 minute but the whole thing is jokes. Commentary from Ariel makes it tho.

Weak card

Co-main was a strawberry floating mess of an illegal knee stoppage reversed into a TKO and Rumble fought like an absolute idiot

The women's fight was temporarily called off the other day by the NY commission because one of the fighters had breast implants. Dana White was furious at the media for reporting it had been called off even though it had and the ruling commission had said so :|

So I'm a bit confused. Is there some kind of new rule change. The old rule was, no knees to a grounded fighter with the stipulation being, if a hand is touching the floor then you can't throw a knee to the head. So what has it changed too? both hands must touch the ground for a knee to the head to be illegal? I'm assuming based on the replay/footage both weidmans hands weren't properly touching the floor, therefore the second knee was indeed legal.

I've not seen the fight yet but apparently it was a legal knee and I've seen a lot of people saying Weidman was milking it to the doctor and expecting it to be an illegal knee so the fight would be ruled a no contest.

New rule is supposed to be two palms down to be grounded but judges call it on fingers and Weidman was down when it was thrown but not when it landed.
Also under NY rules refs can't use replay but Mirgliotta left the ring and spoke to McCarthy who was watching one.

It's a total clusterfuck but if Weidman did ask for a stoppage assuming he'd win by DQ then he deserves the loss.

That clears it up for me thanks. I read Mousasi sensed that Weidman was trying to touch the mat so he used his arms to lift him up then threw the knee. It's kind of a bullshit tactic using your hand to touch the ground to escape a knees strike anyway, it's as bad as grabbing the fence imo.

So it's the big one tonight - predictions?

I see a lot of calls going for a Joshua early stoppage but if I had money on I think I'd go Joshua 8-9. Could easily see Klitschko winning in the same rounds though. Normally I always bet on boxing but I'm too unsure about this one, just gonna enjoy the spectacle.

If anyone has a stream please hit a brother up too, can't hack the pub as I have to get up at 3am for a flight.

Yeah, difficult one to call for sure.

Joshua in round 8-9 seems a popular choice, think a couple of people at work went with that. Not really predicting anything just looking forward to it.

Also if anyone has a good stream, would be much appreciated. I have one now, but it's not the best.

Bit worried this fight has come a year or two early for Joshua, however I don't think a loss will harm him too much. He could probably still walk into a title shot against wilder or the New Zealand guy if he loses. That's assuming klitscho doesn't retire straight after.
