I didn't realize what a shitty tournament UFC 1 was til I watched it tho. strawberry float me. Like I know its known as the event where Gracie Jui Jitsu showed the world how powerful it is and all that, Royce literally takes down Art Jimmerson who immediately taps for no reason whatsoever. And I'm pretty sure the choke he finished Gerard Gordeau with in the final isn't even sunk in or choking him. It looks like it could be some kind of Gi choke, but ill be strawberry floated if I can see what happened. People just gave up as soon as he grappled with them. And the other fights were just hilariously gooseberry fool. Kevin Rosier was like "ive been training three whole weeks for this tournament"
The tournament as a whole is pretty gooseberry fool but despite the "Bullshit" chants from the crowd I thought the Ken Shamrock vs Patrick Smith fight was okay. Not great but at least okay.

Even ignoring everything else he claimed I've no idea how anyone could state McGregor was the A side of that fight. Absolutely no evidence backing that up whatsoever.

The thing I find with depression is that people rarely understand it unless they've seen someone go through it or experienced it themselves. They just think 'so you are a bit upset. Snap out of it'. Some though are truely incapable of understanding it.

Wasn't just any steroid JJ popped for.
It was Trenbolene. That's basically God tier juice. 5x more anabolic and 5x more androgenic than normal Testosterone.
It's normally combined with Acetate ether which means it's got a very short half life, probably been juicing years using it and only since USADA got involved has it been possible to confirm.

Maybe not the classic I was expecting but still a very good, and at times great, bout. Had GGG to win in the later rounds by KO but never really looked that likely, the chin on Golovkin though my god. Would take being hit by a train to stop him.
A draw's bullshit, thought it was tight but that was a GGG win all the way.

UFC Fight Night 116 last night was Finish City. Well worth watching.
Luke Rockhold first fight since getting finished by Bisping. Not the best 1st round but turned it around in 2nd.
Gregor Gillespie v Jason Gonzalez was fight of the night for me.
Kamaru Usman was on TUF a few years ago, he has serious knock out power.
Only 1 fight went the distance. No boring fights.

I thought GGG won it 115-113.
Canelo backed off in rounds 456 and even though he wasn't hurt he allowed GGG to dictate the pace and land more.
He's got incredible skill Canelo but I thought he coasted a bit too much and lost a few rounds through it.
