I'd imagine that with GSP and Silva gone/out for the moment, Jones is their biggest PPV draw, so they're not going to throw him under a bus, especially with all this 'potential GOAT' talk that's been going on from Dana. His statement was such bullshit.
Funny how Jones likes to paint this Christian, do-gooder, "I snitch on pot-smokers" attitude, and then turns out to be a coke head.
I'm pretty sure all the guys who have been busted for weed tested positive as a result of their post fight test, the test that got Jones busted was an out of competition test. If Jones would have had cocaine in his system during the fight on Saturday this would have been an even bigger shitstorm for him and the UFC.
Like others have said I doubt he has a cocaine problem and is just being thrown into rehab by his PR team/Dana for a few weeks.
His failed drug test on 4 Dec, out of competition as Lonestar said, making it different from the weed. Matt Riddle was fired after his 2nd failed test during competition. There is no doubt that the UFC will pander to their biggest PPV draw though, naturally.
I don't really hate him anymore than I already do because he likes to sniff his pan in during his down time. His choice. In terms of being an enhacement, it isn't classified as such and it's only real benefit during training would be as a hunger suppressant but it's hardly great for your body as an athlete. He clearly likes the ladies and partying a little too much. As would I if I was a young, immensely talented, famous and rich guy.
The usual stories now coming out that it was always a well known secret that he likes to do some blow now and again, and often frequents the same stripper joint to spend cash and indulge. Add in the fact that just The other day when questioned on cutting weight again so soon Cerrone said: "It's probably damaging, for sure. But so is cocaine and alcohol."
The most revealing thing so far is the news his T:E level was 0.29:1.00. Crazily low for someone of that stature and maybe a sign he has come off 'a cycle' and his body is struggling to properly produce testosterone on it's own.

I mentioned this yesterday in my rant as it his highly suspect.

Usually when someone is training and taking steroids/PED's they would do it in, say, 10 week cycles. Probably less for fighters in training camps or whatever. Jones having such low levels suggest he had recently come off a cycle of taking something hence why his body was now struggling to produce testosterone of it's own accord.
The whole thing is a cluster. Different people from the commission contradicting each other, the testosterone levels...gotta wonder how deep this will go.
I mean what mental state do you have to be in to do that to yourself. Actually who was the forum member who got all those dreadful tattoos? we could ask them.
