Conor is great entertainment and I'm a huge fan of him being a cocky arsehole.

However, smart money has to be on Nate. Conor is biting off more than he can chew. It's just a super bad match up for him. Nate is taller, heavier, better cardio (triathlons for fun), longer reach, has a ridiculous chin, is far better on the ground, won't be taking the fight on short notice and whilst his boxing doesn't look flashy, it's certainly effective.

I do want Conor to win, I just think he's got the odds heavily stacked against him.

I like Diaz too, but I think Conor winning helps to grow the sport further. Dude has natural charisma.

Hope Conor gets smashed to strawberry float. Make him defend his belt FFS.

Mixed feelings about GSP returning, kinda depends on what kind of fights he takes. Him and Fedor probably my GOATs though. :wub:

Sweet, good analyses. Might hold off on putting money down then, I'm hopeless at betting on ufc anyway - try to keep it boxing where I at least win more often than not.

I'm looking forward to GSP's return as well, he's the first fighter I can remember as I got some magazine years ago with him on the front cover.

I haven't bought into any of this gooseberry fool with McGregor and Diaz. Don't care for the fight at all, but would be great to see McGregor lose again. Johnson-Texeira could be good, reckon Johnson will get it (think he fights DC then..?)

I'm hoping for a proper war. Think McGregor can take it in the first few rounds if he keeps up his face pounding like he did in the first round of the last fight but Nates BJJ is so slick that he can take it If it goes into the later rounds. Proper excited.

Not arsed about this PPV at all. Diaz won the first fight fair and square and the rematch is utterly pointless and serves no other reason than to just make the UFC more money. Maybe the little banana split will actually go back to defending his belt again after this (if he can actually make that weight), or maybe he'll get another rematch from Uncle Dana if he loses again so he can get his win back.
