The Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson fight scheduled for tomorrow night in Las Vegas, one of the most anticipated fights of the early part of 2017, is off due to weight cutting issues with Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov was hospitalized in Las Vegas while cutting weight and had until 11 a.m. local time to get on the scales and weigh-in. Doctors wouldn't allow him to fight and he failed to weigh-in. Given the procedure of putting someone on fluids when issues are with dehydration, it makes it almost impossible in those situations for the fighter to be able to make weight.

All other fights on the show are official. At this moment, it is not clear which undercard fight will be moved to the PPV.

Nurmagomedov vs. Ferguson was scheduled as a five-round fight for the interim lightweight title, with a shot at Conor McGregor at least in theory going to the winner. It was the number two bout for UFC 209, behind the Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson main event for the welterweight title.

I don't get how you can be so irresponsible with cutting weight on one of the most important nights of your life. Surely you're prepared by this point?

Anyone bothered about the Haye v Bellew fight on Saturday? I think it should be pretty good.

Three times this fight has been cancelled. Twice by Khabib, once by Ferg. They're possibly getting Michael Johnson as a replacement tho, hopefully we get something

Johnson's just posted on Twitter that Ferguson's turned him down so seems unlikely now sadly.

I'll hopefully be able to catch the Haye fight on Sunday before seeing the result, quite looking forward to it. Haye's a total knob but some of his chat's been so overblown it's made me chuckle. Haye will win, I've no doubt. Thinking rounds 8-10 stoppage.

Oh ffs "Halabeeb". Dude's pull out game is strong. That's the fight I was most hyped for.

Sounds like they offered him Michael Johnson, but he declined because it was for less money than vs Khabib. Fight's off, no replacement.

The UFC are strawberry floating dicks, they'd still have made stacks of money even if they had offered Ferguson the same terms for fighting Johnson.

Haye's sky box office. Or, better, open a new account with sky bet and place a fiver on the fight and you can watch it for free. Maybe Google it for details, can't remember the exact page I saw it.

The 5.30pm unfortunately. Anyone going to watch haye v Bellew on kodi? If so what addon do you use for sky box office?

Thanks both. I'll use Zem on kodi as that has a lot of sports, but there is prob better out there.

The amount of big shots haye has missed with so far, he just needs to box for a bit. He will end up doing something stupid and getting caught.
