Probably why they're talking about a rematch. Bellew will get blown away if he takes a step up and a rematch is the best option for Haye

Did Bellew really call out AJ after the fight? That's embarrassing he couldn't finish a properly strawberry floated Haye he'd have no chance of hurting AJ

Bellew was knackered himself though he was carrying extra weight and absorbing some of the those early Haye shots did knacker him out. Bellew is just looking for big pay days now and to be honest good luck to him. He doesnt want to fight too many heavyweights though he's not built for it.

My brother is a boxing trainer he expected a Haye win and to be honest if Haye didnt get injured he would have won that one. The fight completely changed in round 5 due to that injury after that if anything Bellew just showed what a poor heavyweight he is as he couldnt hurt Haye at all really. Look at Hayes face at the end of the fight barely a mark on him and he took quite a lot of shots.

You're right good luck to him making as much money as he can because being a boxer is no different to any other sport it's a short career but he'll AJ is in another league right now to Haye and I'd fear he'd be embarrassed in that fight.

Oh absolutely if you're going to get punched for a living you have to make sure you make something out of it at least. Like Bellew said he's fighting for his kids and at 34 he'll know he's only got a maximum of maybe 2-3 big fights left.

Yeah he's got a few big fights left but going after AJ could give him one last big fight because if he's knocked out in round one or two no-one will want to touch him.

He's been saying something about having respect for AJ, definitely didn't call him out

I didnt get the impression Bellew was very serious about calling Joshua out. A Haye rematch was clearly his priority.

It depends really in some ways if you come up from cruiserweight and manage to get a shot at a heavyweight title even if you lose it's pretty much a free shot. No one expects him to win everyone knows he's a cruiserweight so it's basically a nice big payday for Bellew and one in the win column for AJ. AJ will definitely defend the IBF and WBA 2-3 times before any unification fight.

At least the Heavyweight division after some time is starting to get interesting again.

Haye at Goodison probably.

Would he not need to defend his cruiserweight title though before they strip him for not defending it?

I'd have thought so but he seemed to indicate he just wanted to go after big money now

He might, he could give it up I mean he's not fighting for titles now by the looks of things. He's pretty much gone as far as possible in cruiserweight there's no big money spinners for him. He's looking for names now and a few big box office fights in the UK are probably the way to go.

He is just right because this is really the first time in his career he has been in mainstream media and he should cash in on it while he can.

The jump from cruiserweight to heavyweight is the hardest one to make as you can be taking on guys 2-3 stone heavier. I mean haye was a 1.5 stones heavier and he's small himself for a heavyweight.

I wonder if we might see a Bellew v Whyte fight. Winner gets to face AJ.
