This follows on from what I posted on the last page, there's no way I'm watching any of this fight. I hate the idea of it as a spectacle. Boxers often struggle to recreate that thrill outside of the ring, that doesn't mean they should be encouraged by promoters to destroy their health when they are way beyond what you'd expect from a reasonable fighter. It's a freakshow. They can fight if they want but strawberry float supporting it in any way, I'm not even touching it on torrents.
Some great fights this weekend. Michael Johnson vs Justin Gaethje was superb. Last minute or so: https://streamable.com/tjlbf Whittaker is immense, don't like Romero but can't deny he's dangerous. Back-to-back wins over Romero and Jacare for Whittaker now. Pettis looked good, and the Browne fight was entertaining.Decent weekend overall.
Really don't like the commentary on the UFC now. Rogan aside it's so boring, and having three people doesn't seems to detract more than anything. Was great to hear Goldberg on Bellator last week.
Dana White has gone on one of his rants and says Nunes will never be getting a main event ever again because she can't be trusted. He also o said the same thing about Jon Jones.
Not arsed about this at all. Jones is going to be the favourite vs pretty much anyone he faces due to his physical gifts giving him a huge advantage. No coincidence his biggest beating was against Gustafsson.

Shame Jones v Rumble never happened.
Maia fight doesn't interest you either?
214 is the most stacked card in ages, I can't wait for it.
I'm pretty indifferent about Cormier, but Jones is a god-tier banana split, so Cormier to win please. Also hoping to see Maia win. Lawler-Cerrone should be good, not fussed about any other fights.
