Had this idea over the Easter break and wanted to see how much interest it got.
There are loads of classic and underrated classic games that cost about a fiver these days and i thought it'd be a good idea for everyone to play these games if they haven't already or revisit them again and see how well they hold up from what they remember of them.
Each game would have to have some sort of multiplayer side to it (like Age of Empires 2 having the 8 player online mode) and we could meet up once a week for a month to play the game online with each other. After that month's over, a new game from a different genre could be picked and everyone would play that for a month and so on and so forth. Some sort of league could also be set up to see who's good at what type of game or just to add a competitive edge to it.
Since the games would be fairly old, everyone would have a computer more than capable of running them and they'd be well within budget of most people as well. If you're interested then post here and maybe recommend a game or two you wouldn't mind playing.
