I still haven't really played it. FF3 has been taking up all my DS RPG funtimes.

from my previous post -

2011
Child of Eden
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
The 3DS

In that case Child of Eden is a possibility as I enjoyed Rez.
Deus Ex looks interesting, however I think I'm the only one in the world who hasn't played the first 2 titles. I imagine that any previous story will be covered though for people like me.
The 3DS is hardware but it's probably the thing I'm looking foward to most.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a prequel to the previous games and is indeed set 25 years before the first game took place. Excellent for newcomers into the series.

 it certainly looks special. It's a shame that I missed the previous ones. I don't think there is anyway that I could go back to them now though. I'm not a big fan of old graphics :fp: terrible I know.

How has this fallen to page 3?

Anyway, even I'm surprised by my inclusion of Gran Turismo 5 as my Racing Game of the Year. I didn't expect much and even if I had, I doubt I could've expected as much as I got! Despite some woefully rough edges and some ModNation-esque load sequences, the game is absolutely sublime.

I'm going to assume those voting for DJ Hero 2 as Best Music Game haven't played any other music games this year. There's no other explanation for why anyone would possibly vote for it...

I've not played it yet but on your constant recommendations I've got my sister DQ IX as she loves RPGs but has never played an FF or DQ before (never had the right console and she doesn't buy herself games really, I buy her games I think she'll enjoy) and is traveling next year.

It best be as good as you say!

It's awesome, seriously the best JRPG I have played since Journey of the Cursed King. Which was the best JRPG since the SNES days.

SEGA or Nintendo for publisher of the year?

I can't decide, both have released an amazing amount of good games.

My list is 100% complete, though I really wish I could have found a spot for Fallout: New Vegas. :(

I'm really looking forward to Brink aswell. Co-op nature of the game appeals to me and it all looks pretty solid and polished from what I've seen so far.
