No need, Hotline Miami would have it in the bag.

I haven't played the game so I will have to check it out. It will have to be very good for it to beat HM imho.

We really should have Soundtrack and Plot categories next year, and lose Import Game.

In a year that promised the end to the biggest RPG series in recent history and a continuation of one of the best shooters ever (that'll be Max) my two favourites came from strawberry floating nowhere.

Before June The Walking Dead conjured only a vague recollection that Andrew Lincoln was quite good in This Life. After Ep1 of Telltale's Magnum Opus though I wanted to consume as much of it as I could. I read the comics all the way through. I endured the first two series of the TV show before it finally got its act together in series 3 and I finally, finally after a 3 month delay, completed The Walking Dead on my iPad. And my goodness if the game wasn't the best the franchise had to offer. Better than the comic, light years ahead of the show and easily the best game I played last year. Heartbreaking.

As for my second favourite. Well, I'll just leave this here.

Games wot I worked on:
Night Call: Out now!
Rip Them Off: Out now!
Chinatown Detective Agency: 2021!

I agree. I would've given Hotline Miami best soundtrack in a category dedicated to it but I thought ME3's overall audio design was amazing. I desperately wanted to put Spec Ops: The Line somewhere on my list as well and best plot would've been the perfect fit purely for how much balls it had.

I've finished updating mine. 2012 wasn't that great year at all for me honestly.
