Who here can tell me about the Elgato HD60? I'm thinking of getting one second hand as I have credit but I've been warned that they suffer from hardware failures when used too much.

I want something to record console play. Unless you're telling me there is another way.

He means a stream deck.

Stream decks are ace, it's easier to have things set up there that hotkeys. I've done it with both, you can also have it set to down other things like set up a tweet or markers for twitch, making clips, messing with cams, setting up sound effects gifs and various other things. I like 'em and they are very handy.

Clearly, he doesn't realise that an Elgato HD60 is a capture card.

I finished streaming about 2 hours ago. I think the person you saw is someone I'm hosting while offline. The only person I know streaming resi 4 that I host is Googie and American guy. Haven't seen his streams for a while, last I saw he had long pink or purple hair. I forget which.

Very entertaining! You've got some skills, Pedz!

Note to self: Don't attempt Mega Man 11.

Going to play some FireRed again. Not sure how long for, as I may play for an hour or 2 and then swap game. Not sure what that will be though. Maybe Mega Man X. I may just stick to Pokemans though. We'll see.

Is there a guide for people interested in starting a Twitch/YouTube channel that covers connecting consoles (Switch in my case) to computers and recording/producing content?

Though, I will only be playing FireRed for certain. Later streaming than planned due to overcooked 2 DLC.

I just wanted to say this is a really good idea, and may even encourage some more of us to stream, which I'd heartily recommend if you're interested!

It's been really nice seeing people support each other on Twitch as they streamed their games, and chatting with people has been really fun.

Sorry for not streaming so much, I may be back soon, otherwise I'm planning on doing some non-gaming streams in November for sure.
