Ta. Just checked my spend for 2014. Not including CEX vouchers and Tesco Club card vouchers (i.e. only spending real money), my total for 2014 was just £201.85. I've also not included purchases for my kids.

I really messed up last year. My budget was about £500 in January, by March I'd got back into collecting Sega Saturn games and must have already been hovering over the £500 mark. Then in June I got a Wii U and building a collection there which is not cheap by any stretch. Around October I got a GTX 970 solely for games. Must have gone quadruple over budget I'd guess.

This year will be the year of playing games rather than collecting them for the sake of it, and I'm aiming for 500 pan.

I plan to spend less on games also (although I'll be buying Amiibos) and while I do plan to save up for Xbox One I'm not in hurry getting one, so will see. Right now I've got about 10 games I want to play right now including SSB for Wii U...
