Dragon, there is no way you'll be able to resist the lure of adventuring across the world of Xenoblade... I'd have thought that it would be your Christmas game!

I'd love to make it my Christmas game but I barely played Captain Toad last year so a big JRPG like this wouldn't be the best choice. That being said, the bigger battery that I bought for my GamePad this year should make off TV play more feasible. Anyway, I'm sure that I'll get caught up in the hype and buy it anyway, especially if I finish Zestiria before it comes out. FFXIV did remind me of how much I loved stepping out into Gaur Plain in Xenoblade Chronicles and X looks to be even bigger. I just feel that, if I had to cut back on some of the titles that I mentioned, I'd probably wait for X as Zestiria will keep my JRPG interest until I pick it up.

Plus I still need to finish the Wii game :shifty:

They're the same game so just start and finish one. I'd have gone for the 3DS version if Dolphin wasn't working so well.

I'm actually surprised that I'm still in credit. My remaining budget is £97.59 but I've ordered some Steam credit so that's already down to about £80. Off the top of my head, I'll be picking up Tales of Zestiria, X, Tri Force Heroes and Mario Tennis so I should be overbudget by the end of this month :toot:

I pre-ordered the Steam controller using a gift card that I got for my birthday in May and some credit that I had left on another card so that helped me stay within budget this month. Someone was selling Zestiria for $30 so I bought it from him instead of using the £40 credit that I have on my Steam account which I'll now save for the Winter sale.

Here's my final total for 2015 :toot:

Image

November marked the arrival of Disney Infinity in the House of Dragon and it quickly took over some amiibo territory. I'm going to have to put some game cases into storage so that there's more room on my shelf for amiibo and Infinity characters. I've already rearranged my books so that they are in piles, instead of lined across shelves.

It was a good month for hardware as I got my hands on a Steam Link which works wonderfully in my living room. The Steam Controller quickly became my favourite controller when I got my hands on it in October and now I have another one to use from the Comfy Couch™ in my living room. I also picked up a capture card this month which has been used to record Club U events like Mario Kart Monday and GRcade Splatfests.

Image

The Steam sale didn't have a big impact on my wallet but I did pick up a few more amiibo and Infinity figures. I'm building a new PC for the living room, which will run Plex and some games, so that's why there's a processor in December and an SSD last month. I would have ordered the rest of the parts but the case that I want has been out of stock for a while :( I'll move the Steam Link to the dining room when this PC is ready so that it can be used when someone is watching TV in the living room.

I didn't really know what to set as a budget at the start of the year but I did feel that £1,500 would be enough. Next year will probably be around the same if I upgrade my graphics card when the HTC Vive arrives, with Half-Life 3, and I'd like to finally buy a console on launch to get that day one feeling, even if I know that the launch line-up is lacking.
