Just finished Crisis Core  I was welling up by the end. The music, the cut scenes, the flashbacks its all so moving. This really is a superb game and if they released it on PSN for PS3 im sure more people would get to experience what is to me the second best JRPG ever!

Its when you lose accesory in the first round and then get hit with mini, then each round after you lose all materia, half HP, weapon etc.

Getting humped by some Turks in a tunnel. Keep making stupid mistakes, once I set up my part properly i should get through them. Silliest mistake is having reflect still on someone then casting cure all.

Is this a bad time to point out you can skip that battle?

Just need to Master two more Green Materias to get a Green Master Materia 8-)

Why is it Tifa's ultimate weapon sometimes only causes low damage?

I think the strength of it is related to the size of your limit break bar.

All the ultimate weapons power up differently. I remember Barret's is based on the total AP of all the materia equipped in it, and Vincent's is based on how many enemies he's killed. Can't recall how the others work.

I last played this after 24 hours with no sleep, and I reached the first bit at Shinra HQ. The long run up that staircase, with nothing else to do but press up, left, down, right, repeat, almost sent me to sleep, then I had to try and get through that room unseen, all the while praying for a save point soon, and with little to no coordination going on, so I kept getting spotted and having to start again. I never made it to a save point before turning it off in a sleepy rage.

That was pretty bad, yeah. I couldn't believe how long that went on.

I kept failing at that as well, but at some point the game would just let me through.

Playing while I'm really tired never works well for me. If I start getting really irritated by random battles, for example, that's usually a sign for me to stop playing 'cause it will only get worse from then on...

Man, reading Rubix's unrelentless progression through this game makes me want to play it so hard!

Cloud and cait Siths is strongest when current HP is equal to total HP. I.e. The more health the stronger (full health = full attack)

Cid's and Red Xiii is like the above but based on MP (i.e full MP = full attack)

Vincents is based on number of kills (and is pretty useless unless you grind him like a bastard forever)

Yuffies is based on level of enemies (the higher the enemy level the stronger her attacks)

Tifa is strongest when she is nearly at limit break (again a not very usefull one really as she doesnt dish out consistent damage)

Barretts is easiest, just load the Missing Score full of High AP mastered materia and he kicks ass VERY consistently regardless of health or MP.
