I now own the Shinra Mansion or as it's now known "Cloud Villa"

All I need to do know is level up to 99 for each character. Cloud = 81 Rest 60-72

And to kill the weapons. Anyone remember how to link pheonix summon to a materia so I when Emerald Weapon does his 9,999 hit on every character I can come back to life?

Is there anyway I can make this game look appeasing to the eyes on a HDTV (via PSX)? I'd love to fire it up again.

Forgot you have to fight Proud Cloud at the end. Thank god for Omnislash and mime

Got the Final Attack, now I need to level it up

I've just passed through Cosmo Canyon (that cave bit was a bit tough, I had to ignore some chests to save MP and HP) and just gone to the Shinra Mansion, how long until the dreaded bit where

Depending on how long you spend leveling, between 2 and 5 hours.

I've currently got most of the characters at lvl 25 (except for Cait Sith, who I never use) but I'll probably try to get to at least lvl 30 before the end of the 1st disc.

Also, I doubt there's many people who don't know about that particular 'spoiler'.

In the cosmo canyon you can't get them again.

Also there is a major cheat for the boss Use cure on him and he will die very quickly
always use cure spells on the undead in FF games

Only reason I remember that is because you kill a boss in FFVIII the exact same way.

Now I have two Mime's so everyone can attack 4x

Only one more green materia to master then I can claim my master materia

It doesn't do 9,999 damage, it does 1,000 damage for each materia a character has equipped - "Aire Tam Storm" - read it backwards.

I now a proud owner or Master Magic Materia 8-)

and I combined it with All

I now have Final Attack, KOTR, Phoenix annnnnnnnnnnnnnd 2 mime materias. Nearly time to take on Emerald

Only 50 hours in too
