Not much hassle, Tiarny, you can just get a PSN card on ebay for funds. It doesn't have borders and runs 20% quicker.

Won't play on your PSP, though.

Vincent is excellent early game although he becomes weaker towards the end. His limits are amazing as often as they are infuriating.

I usually stick to Cloud, Vincent and Yuffie, switching to Barrett and Cid late game.

I never use Cait Sith (not sure why) rarely use Tifa and dont bother with Aeris as she is too weak and im not much of a magic user. I often Use Red Xiii as he is a good all rounder.

Cloud, Tifa and Barrett all the way.

Replace Barrett with Yuffie and we're the exact same. I couldn't get a grip on how to make the Missing Score not total gooseberry fool, so after using the original trio on my first run, I avoided Barrett like the plague from then on.

Plus, I love the Wimmins. 8-)

I don;t really know why I used Tifa. Even with her Ultimate weapon her attacks were weak as anything and her limit breaks weren't great. I think the teenage me just liked the character (and the boobies).

Barrett though, was bad-ass.

Eh? The combination has changed :?

Didn't it used to be 36, 10, 59, 97?

Just load it up with MASTER materia and it kicks ass more consistantly than any other weapon. The best three limit breaks are Cloud, Barrett and Cid perhaps Tifa but it requires more skill.

I've always wanted to do a run with Cid (mainly to see what he says), but you get him so late in the game it feels a bit gooseberry fool dumping one of your characters.

Actually, wait. That's given me an idea, that should also make a certain temple section a lot easier than usual.

Worst bit of the game, without a doubt. Those strawberry floating kangaroo things...

I think you still have to find the codes.

I found the sensitivity of tuning a bit twitchy but the code definitely works for the UK version.

Interestingly.......(near end of CD1, don't click! Not major storyline but still in game nonetheless)

You can go on "date" with Barrett  I think you just have to include him in your party all the time without using any of female characters. Never tried this but there's video on Youtube...

FFVII has so many hidden gems that's for sure.

The Demon Wall is the hardest boss going, too. But oh-so-satisfying when he finally dies.

Also, Nail Bat.

Also, just before that part of the game, did anyone manage to go on the date with Barrett? I've managed the 3 girls myself, but I couldn't get Barrett to come to my room without a cheat cartridge. That moment with the knock on the door is always the most tense in the whole game for me, to see who's coming in after all my hours of work.

 I wanted to do that part but I always liked to train everyone to get all limit breaks so in the end I can't get that part :( Maybe I'll try it now, and just start training everyone after that.
