Is there a league being made for this season?

Also who are people seeing as vital players/potential bargains? Spent a little while yesterday looking at options, plenty of decent £5.5m midfielders

I believe it's up already. If you were a member last season just create a new team and you'll be added to the new league automatically.

Defenders is an area I struggled with this time around. Given that so many of the biggest clubs have new management it's hard to be certain who will start. Yet buying defenders for mid-table and bottom half sides is always risky as unless they're a reliable goalscorer they have the potential to ship lots of points.

What I tend to go for with defence to start with is 2 expensive players (ideally full backs for attacking options) from the big clubs and then 3 from the clubs outside that like Southampton, Stoke, Swansea, West Brom, West Ham etc, and then you have rotation options depending on fixtures.

At the moment I'm looking at something like Bellerin, Shaw, Morgan, Fernandez, Johnny Evans.

Also, the way fixtures works has teams in home/away pairs-meaning they are never both at home or both away. Can be worth looking into this as you can guarantee 1 of your rotations is always home if you pick a defender from each team in a pair.

I think Martial at £9.5m is a very decent option as he is now down as a midfielder. Lamela at £7m could offer decent value too.

Hard to call the cheap options that become vital-like Vardy, Mahrez, Alli etc always a bit of a punt until it gets going.

Burnley and West Brom are one pair.

http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/ has been doing articles on different rotations.

Yeah defenders seem difficult, i was thinking one from Chelsea and one from Man utd, then the likes of saints, swans, stoke etc to rotate

I think i'll have to fit in Aguero, Ayew seems good as a midfielder when he is likely to start up front for Swansea (unless we sign a striker).

Also didn't realise how big some squads are in the PL, Palace seem to have loads of players!

Also, Stones is £5m, so if he goes to City, that'll be extremely good value for money.

Will his value change if he does join city? Or will it stay at £5m?

But if you've already got 3 Man City players and Stones, and he does move, the game will crash.

It's not that much of a bargain is it? The most any one defender costs is £6m isn't it?

Bellerin is £6.5m but he's the only one.

But £5m for a Man City starter would likely put him as the best value defender in the game and he'll end up in everyone's teams.

Getting the balance of your defence right can give you an extra couple of £m to upgrade a midfielder/forward which can make all the difference.

Positioned 14/16 in a Fantasy Draft, this is what I've come out with. Thoughts?
