Don't you just imagine that Lewis's family are all just like him in that respect?

Chalkitdown, the presents are brilliant. Wore the Commando t-shirt to a gig tonight. A guy said he'd give me £100,000 for it

L4D2 is a game that I wanted but couldn't afford, so thanks for that! Cheers man

OTN glad you like the presents

I picture it like that episode of Futurama with that video about Marilyn Monrobot.

"Hey Lewis do you want to come downstairs for some dinner?"

"No thanks, I'd rather make out with my Marilyn Monrobot strawberry float my fleshlight"

I don't own The Wrestler mate so it's much appreciated. I'm not usually a book man (although I wish I was) but I'll give The Dark Tower a read after the new year once everything stops being so hectic in my household due to Christmas. :)

My books -

Image

 Cheeky strawberry floater. I could have wrote this essential text, but I'm picking up a few extra tips 8-)

Image

A bit like How to Win Friends and Influence People, a great book full of tips on how feel confident about yourself, and live life to the full. It's really good.

Oh but this is the biggie -

Image

Tied in first place with my coffee machine for best gift of the year  It comes with 2 cd's, fully note annotated...just a strawberry floating bible, basically.

Knoyleo, if I was a girl, I'd love to strawberry float you. There, I said it.

After poking you I saw you liked comics + you said you hadn't got any Iron Man ones so I thought I would try start your collection off :)

I have attempted to buy you a nice comic that is actually worth something ... but given my lack of comic collecting and Iron Man I have proabably epically failed! I was also going to try get you some chocolate if you fancy it ... but didn't know your taste :fp:

Anyway I hope you see some value in having it ... if not just stick it on ebay :D .... oh and before any bright spark chirps up, contrary to what the cover says that comic didn't cost me 20c :D

Happy Christmas Jebus

I definitely do see some value in having it, buying comics is always a tricky thing especially when you don't know much about them in the first place! It is a good start for a collection so don't do your self down... is the chocolate offer still good :shifty:

Hello, sorry it has taken me so long to get on GR to post

Thanks so much for the gifts, they are perfect and were the highlight of my xmas present opening, as an old codger I don't get any fun presents really, so Transformers monopoly was a great surprise.

I also loved the letter, a touching personal aspect, and you are right I was worried my meagre post count would cause problems to my ss, but it is to your credit you managed without even a poke.

As a new year resolution I am going to try and be more active on the forum, to contribute rather than just consume. It is quite special what we have here, and I can't imagine being without it.

Ryan0rz I'm glad you liked your gifts - sorry I was so close to the line in getting them send but the shirt only arrived just in time - if it came to it I was going to drop them off personally on xmas eve!

Thanks also to Buffalo for organising the event, well done. Best wishes to all for 2010.

\o/ Success! Man, what a relief. I've been refreshing Track and Trace every goddamn day.

I really took the Transformers thing and ran with it, and was a little worried about putting all my eggs in one basket, so I'm glad you like. Sorry about the 5 identical Decepticon vinyl stickers, though. The Autobots ones were sold out and they were 5 for £3. :P

I got my present today. The tape wouldn't come off the box, but I could see the word 'Kitchen' and got so excited I couldn't rip the bloody thing open! When i finally did I found a lovely black cake stand. I suppose I'll have to send some cake to Mr John Galt who supplied the present! Thank you very much.

You can't do that here. You'd either not be allowed into the pub, or go into the wrong one, and walk out with a knife in your face.

Thank you so much to SpaceJebus for my presents. I haven't had chance to post as have been so busy over the Christmas period (ok I have been either at relatives house or the pub ;) ) but I was amazed at the thought that had gone into my pressies.

I can't really take a photo but I got a Bristol City mouse mat (with "quick to GRcade" written on  ), a Dark Tower graphic novel (awesome stuff as I love the Dark Tower and haven't read or seen the graphic novels before). I also got an Xbox 360 game, Universe at War: Earth Assault, which I have never heard of but will be attempting later today!

Awesome stuff and I can't thank you enough. :)

I just hope Jam liked his gift.

Glad it got there. Lucky you, when the postie rang me to ask if anyone would be in, I said that my brother would be. So he likely believed you!

Glad you liked it, Merry Christmas. :D

Present get! :D

Big heavy Amazon box, came with a note attatched.

Hello more night than light heat! ( :? ) I saw your thread about getting your (very cute) kitten and subsequently saw this super cool cat bowl and had to buy it! Hope it's not too big for a kitten...
Merry Christmas anyway!

It's awesome. Thanks jamcc, it was a very thoughtful gift and will be extremely useful. Luckily my other half saw the label just before she ventured off to Pet City to get some supplies!
