Its absolutely my fault, no excuses here, all I can do is damage control, and get something to deadpool ASAP, since its him I strawberry floated around, and I can only apologise for that.

Batman has it easy.

The bat-signal is what Commissioner Gordon uses to summon Batman when he needs to talk to one of them. They don't shine it over The Joker's house.

They shine it over Gotham - if Bruce Wayne can see if from his mansion on the outskirts, then you can bet that any criminals in the city can also see it.

But they never scarper. They just stay there - usually in the general area the crime is committed - and let swift, bruising justice be delivered upon them.

Also, how about committing crimes in a city not being patrolled by a leather-clad crime-fighter. You're going to have conflict right there with those differing aims.
