Just re-read basically the whole thread. What a good year - 24 participants!

Also, honestly having had a few misfortunes this year including recently a bereavement and income being axed with no notice I'd be worried about letting any recipient down and basically just didn't bother with most minute Christmas gift requests at the studio either (I did do a themed sweatshirt for someone to wear - not as a gift, thankfully booked back in November I think). I'm a little relieved while also half regretting it because it just feels part of the year. I've no presents to unwrap yet but a card, still a few days to sort out the family ones.

Green Gecko wrote:Waiting in pleasant anticipation here (including for Royal Mail supply delivery, strawberry floated off with myself I didn't pay £2 more for DPD so might not be able to do the little ones), I'm not going anywhere (well might wind up at my mum's or sommat but the delivery office is doing extended hours). I just completed my star item. Been up for 24hrs minus a nap trying to get my gooseberry fool together for different things :dread: my holiday officially starts tomorrow so strawberry float everything after that!

My gf is telling me not to do anything else worried about my health lol
well I will try to squeeze a little thing in tomorrow. And I said I would simply put quids down this year... Suffer for your art and all that :toot:

I'm going to bed now see ya GRfam xox

 I have no memory of this at all lol and I'm basically divorced now so it's a bit weird to read.

That Liverpool FC pint glass I did is nuts though, the amount of detail I pack in for those is just crazy. I've started pricing those more like fine art pieces now and they're still cheap. All good for the 'folio.

Looking forward to the reveals, it's about just as good kind of getting around the tree and wondering what sort of ideas people came up with . My family is very fragmented and in different countries so it's a really nice experience to be part of.

I’ve been messaged to say you can open the box.

If there’s no space in your bin then you have to travel to the nearest landfill. Throw it away ASAP before you ruin Christmas.

Lol this reply is great. :toot:

Gather round younglings and hear the Tale of KJGarly and his Amazon voucher

t:secret-santa-2018-sign-up-thread?p=4403821#p4403821

(I tricked Garly into thinking he'd binned a £40 voucher - his girlfriend went rummaging through the bin only to find out I was lying.)

We now throw our presents straight in the bin as is tradition set by KJGarly

This is really brilliant!

I can only apologise for my bin wankery, it was rather chilly last night. Here is a more appropriate image:

If you had any respect for GR Secret Santa then you'd let the dog eat those gifts. :capnscotty:

I still use the Arsenal whisky glass you made me all the time and I loved all the other stuff too, you were a fantastic Secret Santa - hope things pick up for you in 2024 :)

Reading back on past SSs (the bin origin is incredible) and I spotted that Aaron bought MHTL a pillow case with my face printed on it in 08.

The images no longer exist in the thread though, has anyone got a picture of it? I'd love to see it  Quite honoured to have been immortalised as a gift, really.
