gg all. Horrible series for me. Taking a break from Hold 'Em for a few months, I think.

I feel I actually played pretty well this series. The one thing I did learn is that my Heads Up game is back to where it should be which I'm really pleased about. It was a mega frustrating series in many ways - and I got done a couple of times just due to people sitting out, which really is the worst way to go out of a tournament. Had a couple of huge flips, both of which I lost, and two coolers in Heads Up and Omaha. I really wanna win a bracelet but this year there was no way it was going to happen, I ran pretty badly all in all.

Gotta scrap the 6-Max. Might have been bareable for some of you, but with a person sat out to my left I wanted to punch my screen. Every hand in the small blind I am facing a re-steal four handed, and it made my position totally impossible and unreasonable. We don't have enough people to be playing six max.

8-Game was the night I enjoyed the most, so I definitely think it should return.

I was happy at pretty much everything else. Omaha is definitely one of my weaker games, despite having played it probably one of the most in the thread, especially live but I don't think it really suits my game.

Overall though I just want to win one. For me the Series has pretty much stopped being enjoyable to a large extent until the tides turn and I can win one! When Sykes fades 16 outs again for the nth time, it starts to get really wearisome!

6-max does seem a bit pointless as the 9-handed games start with about 6 or 7 per table and then get down to final table pretty quickly.

I agree with changing the 6-Max event to a full ring game.

The one thing I'll say about the 8-Game is that if we change the Stud event to Triple Stud and we also have a 2-7 event, the only variants we would be missing out of the 8-Game are Limit Hold'em and Omaha Hi/Lo, which I don't think many would shed a tear for.

I'd shed a tear for Omaha Hi/Lo

Edit: Is it possible to setup free/play money games? I wonder if turning the $3NL Holdem into a freeroll and having it as the first tournament might attract a few more players? It's never about the money anyway and of course we still have the proper main event at the end.

I can’t check at the moment because I’m at work, but we could always have a preliminary event before the series starts, the entry fee for which could be play points?

It's always about the money. I think people care more if there's money involved no matter how small the amount.

Has it really been over 4 years!

I'm not sure if Stars still let you create your own tables but if so then we should get a few games going again.

Edit: I checked and 'Home Games' are still there it's just hidden away under the 'more..' button on the right. The GRcade club still exists with all of the previously signed up players, and it's free to create tournaments.

Yeah I'd be up for this at some point. Anyone else interested?

Yeh I'd be game. Love a good topic resurrection. A GRSOP 2018 would be interesting!
