GRcade Snowman Competition 2010

From a technical standpoint, Seven's effort is nothing compared to some of these fantastic snowmen. But his features knives. KNIVES.

The standard is insanely high this year. Might have to go back out an build a new one to improve my chances.

Here's mine:

- My scarf/old Saltash Scout scarf
- Snails for eyes
- The traditional carrot for the nose

Cruelty to gastropods - the cornerstone of every great snowman.

My friends, some of these are wonderful. Here's my effort:

Yep, Optimus strawberry floating Prime. You can close the competition now.

How is that even standing?

I don't really know, to be honest. I accidentally built him on a slight hill so that probably helped. I also had to hack away a fair chunk of his SnowFat at the back when the structural integrity started to give.

My plan it to leave it to freeze solid tonight, then paint the bastard tomorrow. 8-)

Bit small.

And his arms aren't even seperate from his body.

Yeah, I know. I was going to do a fuckoff massive 8-foot job, but honest to god there wasn't enough snow. And for that height, it'd have to be 6 feet wide. That's quite a lot.
