His American accent is quite good in places but he seemed to drift into Irish and Scottish for part of it.

Has anyone listened to Ian Boldsworth other podcast? Is it any good.

Which one? He's done a few. (But yes, they're all good.)

Yes, The Mental Podcast is outstanding. Obviously a completely different proposition to the ParaPod. It's a deeply personal look at mental health issues. Ian's natural humour comes through, but it's very far from being a comedy podcast.

I actually listened to it all in a couple of days. It was pretty hard going, I'm not really that bad off mentally by I do think about killing myself sometimes. My problems seem to have diminished with age but I wouldn't say I was totally over it so a lot of that show rang true with me.

The honesty in the podcast is disarming, and I've seen so many people say how much it's helped them, hearing someone say it. I should probably recommend it in the depression thread.

Just finished season 2 (and the special). So good, I love Barry despite his obvious idiocy.

10 episodes left and then I'll have to find something else to fill the void :(

I kind of would like to see them do a standard topic podcast like Barry explains the news for example.

Barry’s news? Sounds great except it would probably go like this:

“Trump? I heard he was only elected because Confederate ghosts were voting”

“Brexit? People voted out because they were scared of European ghosts”

“Russia? Putin played the elevator game and now he is running the world with a ghost army”

“Terrorism? Ghosts blow things up to show that they are there, they don’t mean to hurt you”

“The economy? I don’t understand money but we’d make billions if we researched properly and managed to prove ghosts exist”

“Final season of Game of Thrones? White Walkers are basically ghosts”

“Ghost news? Well, I heard that there is a ghost in a cemetery pretending to be a vampire”

Same here! I really hope they do a season 4 after the movie. I could honestly listen to them discussing anything. I'd love them to pick an historical event each week and have Barry research and report on it!

We should have a GR meet where we head to a tall building to play the elevator game.

Bonus points for anybody that has the balls to burn a cross as a wind up.
