It's been a very long time since I bought a movie, but I will be buying this later. £8 is more than fair especially when I think of all the enjoyment I got from the podcast.

My mother in law is stupidly in to ghosts and spiritual stuff - believes it without question, swears there's ghosts sitting next to get sometimes and so on. I can't wait to play this next time they're over

I see Barry retweeted you. It's always weird to see a GRcader turning up on my timeline when I don't already follow them.

I've just bought the movie, will be watching later :toot:

Edit:

Just had a receipt for my purchase from Amazon.

The movie being £6.66 is a nice touch, but what the hell was the promotion? I'm not arguing, £2.99 is better than £7.99!

does anyone know if any of the various VOD versions have subtitles? The Amazon listing explicitly mentions it *doesn't*, but I can't see anything on iTunes as to whether or not their version includes them...

I know Ian was going through the dialogue at some point but I don't know if that was for the still-upcoming bluray release.

Well I'm glad I only paid £2.99 and even now I'm tempted to demand a refund.

What the strawberry float was that? We've waited this long and they serve up that gooseberry fool? :fp:

All the humour and chemistry from the podcast is just wiped out in favour of two annoying twats barely bothering to look for ghosts.

Specific moans that contain spoilers:

Joking, I loved it! Ian is such a twat

Barry is so cute though, you just want to cuddle him for most of it. I just can't comprehend being that desperate to see a ghost but be so strawberry floating scared all the time

I hope he's still crossing himself, I reckon he can blag his way in

I don't know if the intro is still the same, but the only real criticism I can level at it is they spoil the

Barry thinking he's really seen a ghost and subsequent crew reaction

In the intro audio, which lessens it when it happens.

The tent bit

Only watched it the once, but I remember the biggest laughs being

The tent. Poking Barry with as stick while he's trying to set It up.

Barry endlessly jumping for no reason wherever he is.

Carol faking being touched on the shoulder as if that will be convincing

Barry being locked in 30 east drive. Ian you banana split

I laughed so hard when it cut to Ian drinking coffee and hanging up on Barry

Gonna hold off watching this until I get to the Halloween screening, but it's going to be a tough wait.

Well, I woke up today with minor Covid symptoms, it isn't Covid I'm sure as I've done a lateral flow but didn't want to risk going to the Bristol showing.

Anyway decided to buy it and stream it. So Ian's getting enough cash out of me. £30 for tickets to the show, £7.99 to buy it and my monthly patreon sub.

Only complaint so far is the lack of the actual theme tune aside from a slight hint during the intro!

It better be Moggy! You've changed my mind on so much recently, if you let me down with this theme tune then it's over!

Hot damn, that was awesome!

We laughed hysterically at least several times and chortled many more. Lived up to my expectations.

Barry is adorable.

The theme tune is a remix with Barry rapping over the top.
