Heya Falsey. Good work, but I have some potentially catastrophic news. As per the rules of the Super-Continental Food Challenge, you are supposed to take photographic evidence of your 4th, 5th and/or 6th meals. If I am sticking to the rules, I cannot count any above the first 3 without that evidence.

May I enquire as to how much it was? I've always wondered how much kangaroo steak is.

You know those massive passionately written reviews you occasionally make in Last Film after watching something, Banjo?

I want that for these kangaroo steaks.

For 250g, it was £5.50. To me, that is rather expensive.

Cuttooth, I'll definitely be doing that. I'm having it over a friends', taking some burgers and sausages for them and some for myself while I tuck into the glorious looking specimen you see before you, all greedy like. I hope it's good. Nay, I hope it's magnificent. All before I go out on the piss, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow for my views on Kanga.

God speed.

Also, anyone got any ideas what I should eat it with? I'm thinking a very simple garnish, I want almost all flavour to derive from the meat, as that is the focus. Plus I got other food to eat should it not fill the hole.

Hell, I may even have it by itself, in order to judge it entirely on its quality.

Nah bro, I understand. And as I dont have my own camera, or a time machine, Ill just take the first 3 without the bonus.

Ive eaten Roo steak before, Had it with some rustic style chips. I wouldnt recommend putting a powerful sauce on it the first time round, as it'll drown out the roo itself.

Its pretty tasty fine, Quite similar to Ostrich.

Ooh yum, I may just do something simple like that. I wasn't planning on any sauce, can't think of any that'd benefit it.

Unfortunately, barring a miracle, I don't think I'll be getting all the bonus points possible. However, I think eating Kangaroo has been a fulfilling experience for me, so I'm pleased for that. Full report later with my other tasks and a lengthy piece on why I enjoyed hopping around the room to explain to people what I was eating.

I've checked, and the roast I'm having at the gf's parents' is chicken, not New Zealand lamb, so unfortunately I doubt I'll be adding to my bonus points :(

I don't mind though, cos I'm gonna have an awesome roast :P
