I'm out of all the picture tasks as my camera's shot although I did spend 2 days in the Forest of Dean and visited a load of landmarks (I can do a write up if no pics is okay)

For 'wrath' could I use a pic of my dog?

She may or may have not tried biting a dog the other day because she's grumpy and she may or may have not had it's mouth in hers.

I was going to try and impliment a Halo theme to my tasks but i think that i might not get the points

Easy (1 point each)

The Guru

Killing covenant on firefight can be theraputic. Imagine all those things you hate in life are each of the grunts you shoot in the face and then they disappear in a puff of confetti and a childs cry. I have played ODST firefight for at least 3 days in a row this week.

New Look

All my "clubbing" shirts are too small for me so i got this black pin stripe number from tesco for £10;

Image

Medium (3 points each)

3 Degrees of Kevin Bacon (or another actor)

The night before last (i think) Rat pack was on late at night, which i watched after some late night ODST Firefight sessions - the starred Don Cheadle as Sammy Davis Jnr, I recorded Oceans 11 from last week which also stars Don Cheadle. Also in this is Julia Roberts who was in Pelican Brief which was on a couple of ago which i recordered and watched

Creative Writing

Heres a quick lymerick. Its titled - Crap

There once was a man from Mombasa
His mouth was as big as his assa
When the slip space was torn
Out came a yawn
Want a compete and utter tosser

Hard (5 points each)

1. Funfilled Outing

My gym is close to pier in Southport. As a break from playing ODST campaign i went to the gym, took a very qick walk on the pier. Very windy. Southport pier is the second longest in Great Britain at 1112 m long and is a grade 2 listed building (apparently). Here is the view of the pier from just outside the gym.

Seven Deadly Scenes

Here it goes;

Image
Wrath - look at that Brute. hes hopping mad and red with rage

Image
Sloth - look at this lazy Grunt, sleeping on the job whe n he should be out patrolling looking for odst to kill

Image
Pride - Heres the Rookie and Buck in thier nice shiney new Warthog jeep - the pride of the UNSC

Image
Envy - However halfway up the road - "lets take the Scorpion" Buck shouts sees this Scorpion, his eyes as green as the paintwork on the tank

Image
Those Brute chieftans love thier hammers, but want they want more is a nice pair of balls in thier mouth.

Image
Greed - All governements are the same, they will charge you for parking anywhere. Even in the 26th century.

Image
Gluttony - The spoils or war. Soldiers can get fat through looting various caches they come across.

So, Task Get?

Hard

Seven deadly scenes:

Envy
Image
My mam's very expensive perfume. I was allowed to (sometimes) use the last bottle she had, as I had actually bought it for her. This time though, she bought this one and hid it from me, hint taken.

Pride
Image
My poetry bookcase, of collections I've bought over the years, some real diamonds in there. 8-) Quite a few of those I've found at a second hand bookstore in Harrogate, I think the name is 'books for all'.

Greed
ImageImage
The first photo is of the All Saints jewellery I bought...all at once. I even went back an hour later and bought the skull earrings, in the second photo close-up.

Gluttony
Image
We really like cheese...there's seven packs of different types there.

Lust
Image
This is a book I bought for my Writing women module, but I've kind of fallen in love with the picture on the front.

Wrath
Image
The lovebirds. The darker green is the male, the lighter fatter one the female. They usually get along very well, too well infact, as they're constantly at it, her with her wings spread as he bobs up and down. However, the two of them had a pretty nasty arguement one day, perhaps she said no for once, and he didn't listen, now he has a hole that looks like a third eye socket.

Or...there's also this:
Image

Sloth
Image
My desk. Better than it normally is but I've taken to hiding papers and stuff behind my laptop, as you can see.

Task Get?

Not sure if I'm doing any more, but I might. I'll also do a summary post later on.

3 Degrees of Kevin Bacon (or another actor):

Revolver (Jason Statham and Ray Liotta) > Wildhogs (Ray Liotta and Martin Lawrence) > National Security (Martin Lawrence)

Thinking of taking the dog there today, not sure if it's a heritage site or anything, it's a woods with a river and few lakes that the dog can go in.

Fishponds Road?

I did a little digging and you are in luck.

Fishponds Road is in Holwood Park:

'An 18th and 19th century landscape park originally of 83 hectares but reduced in size in 1953 to 50 hectares.'

http://www.parksandgardens.ac.uk/compon ... temid,292/

As long as you explore the area a bit and soak up the history, this is a task get in the making.

Can you elaborate on your trip a bit more for the benefit of everyone?

Me and my mate drove there with our dogs, walked them around the woods and then let them have a paddle in the lakes.

Seven Deadly Scenes (Huge Res Pics):

Wrath:
Image
The dog, she's really grumpy and doesn't like other dogs running at her so she unleashes her wrath on them, e.g. she had another dogs mouth in hers the other day. I don't condone this BTW and she's not all that bad, this is her last night:
Image
Gluttony:
Image
Me with a gob full of biscuits or alternatively, tonights dinner (albeit less than I would normally eat)
Image
Image
Greed and Pride:
Image
My PC, TV and the rest. I'm a greedy strawberry float as there is easily £2k of stuff there and I'm proud I have it all at the age of 18.
Envy:
Image
I'm envious of the guy who owns this as it looks so good.
Sloth:
Image
I sit here for around 12 hours a day now I'm unemployed, sitting on my arse browsing the web.
Lust:
Image
The properties of the folder that hold all my pics of the sexy ladies.

The only other one I can do (the Guru I'll just explain in the summary post) is the creative writing...There's no way I'm writing something serious for this, but I might just have a laugh with it, we'll see.

Oh yes, that reminds me. Denster requested special dispensation to draw out the 7 Deadly Scenes task over 7 weeks, as he intends to put a huge amount of effort into each one, presenting 1 a week. I agreed since he was so enthused about what he had planned, but I will only award him the 5 points for it when it is complete.

Ryan0rz wrote:"Welcome to Finlaystone Country Estate, an established visitor attraction managed by the family of the Chief of the Clan MacMillan. The estate is located just ten minutes west of
Glasgow Airport and is open all year round.

With its spectacular views across the Firth of Clyde, Finlaystone offers colourful gardens, imaginative woodland play areas and tumbling waterfalls. The estate combines history with adventure in a fun day out for the family, where your dog can run freely. Step back in time and uncover its secrets."

Went there yesterday! Was a nice day out, went a walk through the various paths, climbed some trees and played (attempted to play) badminton! I also thought I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone, and decided to wear my new flannel shirt out that day. Picture below proves both!

Image

Task gets? Done the day trip, and got a new piece of clothing!
