Yeah, it was really good fun - the topics on both favourite consoles in each gen and the Nintendo Direct enabled some excellent chat! Top work, Pedz and Doom .

A change in day this week. This week's Twitchcast will air live tonight at 10:30pm GMT!

Hey guys! Sorry we've been a bit quiet on the Twitchcast front, as we all know, sometimes life just gets in the way!

So after chatting to Pedz We've decided to move the Twitchcast to a Sunday evening. It helps me work it around my job and helps Pedz work around the kids!

You can expect the show to return THIS Sunday 17th of March! Remember if you can't make it then the show will be posted up on YouTube a couple days after recording!

Should be live at 9 pm.

Google entry into the gaming market with Stadia, what this can mean for the big 3 and an industry as a whole.

Going through and discussing all the announcements made on the Nindies spring event.

I would like to apologise for not getting the latest episode up on Youtube, and various other places. Been trying to get the bloody video to render and been having problems like it's crashed, the electric has cut out and everything

It should be up tomorrow though. Also, I want to apologise in advance for the technical difficulties we suffered during the streaming of the podcast. The problems were with Discord mainly, but the one time the stream cut out. It's a nightmare it happened and I hope it isn't too annoying for those who will listen in.

Doom and Pedz are joined this week by Captian Kil for his first Twitchcast appearance.

This week the chat is all about:

Super Mario Maker 2 and the latest Direct. Honestly the direct isn't spoke about too much, it's mainly Doom, Kil and Pedz talking about if it looks like a significant upgrade or if it should have been Super Mario Maker Deluxe.

Next up is Sony and Microsoft teaming up and Maybe Nintendo using Azure for streaming games.

Kil catches us up on City of Heroes and Villains, which has recently come back to for all to play and for free.

Doom brings the Playdate and Huawei into the conversation with how interesting the former looks and hipster-ish, while Huawei has been great for him and he's hoping things will be changed back so he can have more Huawei devices.

Kil tells us about his visit to the V&A exhibition in Dundee. It's sounding pretty ace.

When then talk a little about games we've played, though it's pretty brief, most talk is about Sea of Thieves and how Doom and Pedz view the game differently.

After a long layoff the GRcade Twichcast is back and in your ears EVERY Sunday evening at 9PM.

We have a lot of catching up to do but myself and Pedz are up for the challenge!

We've also decided to do a "soft reboot" of the show. We're still keeping it informal and free flowing but adding a featured bit every week. This could be a Q&A with questions taken from the forum, Twitch or Twitter, a featured piece on a retro game or a "this day in gaming" look back or could be something completely different, we're open to ideas!

Remember this is a community show, so if anyone has any questions, suggestions or would like to take part please feel free to PM us or leave a message in this thread!

I've had a different idea for a retro chat which I have PMd to Doomy.

OK, we've made our decisions to what we would like to add to the Twitchcast. We're going to still talk news but, as a retro section has been discussed since before we started it, we went for a retro section that we don't think others have done, or have and we don't know about it

Basically, we pick a game that we have both played. Over 2 weeks we play said game and then discuss it on the Twitchcast. We'll see if our memories of the game get smashed or if the game holds up, or if a rose-tinted pair spectacles get in the way. But, on the 4th game that gets chosen we are chosen a game that only 1 of us has played, that way we got a view of Someone who has played the game and has good memories of it vs they're new view of the game vs the view of an untainted player who is new to the game. I think that that will add a lot to the discussion and I am hoping that we can get people from here to join in and have someone pop on the Twitchcast to pick a game and return 2 weeks later to chat about it after playing it themselves.

On the off week, we'll be doing a kind of 'this week in gaming' and looking back however long ago and seeing what was released and that kind of thing. We aren't fully sure if we'll play the games (if we haven't) and go from there.

We also want to do a Q&A section. We already do this to an extent with the live viewers, but, we are hoping to get people from here to PM m and Doom with questions that we can answer on the podcast. And we'll add them at the end. I don't mind the questions being about anything, within reason, but as it's a podcast generally about games, well, we may stick to games or have things tied to games with the questions. I don't know what Doom or others here think.

The section I want the most is. JAWA ANSWERS. I'm hoping jawa will be up for this. What I want to do for this is have 5 questions from those here to ask jawa, and I ask him the questions on discord and record it, then play it back live. I don't know if jawa will do this but let's hope he will. I'll stick to only 5 questions though. So, if more than 5 PM's come to me for jawa answers then only the first five will count.

Thoughts? If something doesn't make sense... Ask Doom he may explain it better
