Really looking forward to this too. I love lists. A great way to find some games that might have slipped by you.

Has this past year changed any of your choices at all?

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Nintendo 64
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Nintendo Gamecube

The Sims: Hot Date - PC
Super Mario Galaxy - Wii

Super Smash Bros Brawl - Wii

I'd say there are two that I'd swap out now - Pro Evo 2010 would make way for the 2015 version, while Smash Bros. Brawl would probably go out and Civilization IV would come in (I know it's not a 2015 game but I only played it this year).

Top 20 favourite games? This should be fun

The Last of Us
Uncharted 2
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Metal Gear Solid 3
Timesplitters 2
Star Wars Battlefront II
Klonoa: Empire of Dreams
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Jak II
Jak 3
Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
Just Cause 2
Banjo-Kazooie
Dark Chronicle
Civilization V
Shadow of the Colossus
Resident Evil 4

Making lists is difficult because I always change my mind and want to add more than I am allowed. So I'll probably edit this lolz

No, I haven't played a game this year that would automatically bump out my twenty. Broforce is knocking on the door though, when it receives its long awaited final release at the end of the year I might have to think about putting it on there.

MH4U is the only 2015 release in my list, but I think MGSV will probably make it once I've finished it.

I think only MGSV: Phantom Pain would make the cut from this year's releases, for me.

My top 20 would contain MGS1, MGS2, MGS3 and Phantom Pain. When I get round to play Peace Walker, it'll probably go on the list.

You should play Peace Walker, it's basically MGS5 (making MGSV basically MGS6)

I was about to start it but my PS3 died.

Might need to pop into CEX and pick up a 320gb PS3 second hand but after I've finished with MGSV.

Metroid Prime
Super Smash Bros. 3DS Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Mario Kart 8
Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II
WWF No Mercy Splatoon
Pikmin 3
F-Zero GX
Advance Wars Dual Strike Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Xenoblade Chronicles
Batman: Arkham City The Witcher

New honourable mentions:
Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Broforce, Dishonored, Donkey Kong '94, Killing Floor 2

Smash Bros for Wii U replaces the 3DS version because it's better in nearly every way. I miss Smash Run and some of the stages from the handheld game but 8 player Smash easily makes up for that. Splatoon has a wonderful, but short, campaign, and the multiplayer is immensely enjoyable, especially with people from here. I finally got into Metal Gear this year after a number of attempts and I really enjoyed the gameplay. The cutscenes were very well done, thanks to the fantastic voice actors, so their length didn't put me off trying to finish the game. I'm still working through Witcher 2 before sinking more time into 3, with a new save from my 1 and 2 playthroughs, which is why Witcher 1 is there instead of 3.

I picked my original choices to keep them varied so I didn't add Majora's Mask 3D as I still prefer Skyward Sword. It's still a fantastic game, made even better with the remake. I don't know why I didn't put 3D World into my honourable mentions last year as it's easily in the same league as the Galaxies. Broforce really surprised me with its frantic action that is easy to pick up but hard to put down. I'd love to play some bro-op with people from here at some point. DK 94 is very much an overlooked gem and I'm very glad that I finally played it. Even though it's Early Access, Killing Floor 2 is one of the best ways for a group of gamers to blast zombies. Dat Z time :datass:

Minor changes here, Ico is still great but having replayed Paper Mario earlier this year I simply had to include it

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Ridge Racer Type 4
Soul Calibur
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
