Right, new post for a new page.

I was going to say Archive Request, but for a thread of this magnitude, where so many people contributed, voted, and commented on the entries - and where Spinny put in an absolute mountain of compilation work - it's still unbelievable to think this is only now reaching three pages, and only doing so because I'm shamelessly double posting.

There was a time when arguing about lists was GR. Come on people, there must be something you love or hate about this list! What's not on their that, IMO, should definitely be?

Where is MGS2? Say what you will about disliking the twist or some of the clumsy writing, but that game has a lot going on with its story under the surface. It tried things that not many other games, if any, were doing at the time. I don't think another game will ever floor me on a technical level in quite the same way again either. I was amazed at how well it holds up in the HD Collection.

TimeSplitters 2 should be in there as well.

Agree with both of those. I'd put them both in the final list if it were up to me - probably in place of two of the undeserving (IMO) entries, such as, for example, the Resi games :shifty:
