check my edited version , i felt i should add more in regards to the left wing spot.

i was just mixing it up plus i do think ginola would easily fight it out for a left wing spot. I think most would just say giggs because he did so well at extending his career and hit so many targets(matches played, cups won etc) but also at his peak he was amazing.

I'm not basing it on him extending his career at all. He's been really average the last 3 or 4 years.

I'm basing it purely on his peak and the fact he was the best Left Winger the PL has ever seen.

see i thought giggs was good but Ginola was more eye catching for me although yes i know i am a spurs fan so biased.

So unbiased vote i choose Steve Mcmanaman

Le Tissier was utterly magnificent at times and kept a poor team in the league single-handedly for several seasons.

Applying this same approach and Le Tiss, Gascoigne, Zola, Bryan Robson, Waddle, Makelele, Cantona and van Persie should all be in contention, many of whom I'd rate as better 'at their peak' than Giggs, and yet I doubt very much that any of them will make the team.

He was a fantastic player, yes. But better than Henry, Cantona and Shearer? Nah.

Just like the PFA then. If you can't vote for your team's player, then vote for someone who isn't their main rival for the spot.

And Henry and Shearer will be in the final XI. At no point did I say Le Tissier was better than Cantona. What's your point?

Well, simply that I said Le Tissier was great but not good enough for the first 11 and then you responded so I assumed you disagreed?

I didn't say he should be in the Top 11 but I said he should get a mention. But I'm worried the majority of this team is going to be Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea players.

At times Le Tissier provided a highlight reel of a game by himself. And I agree there were seasons he solely kept us up.

But then where does he fill in a 4-4-2? He was an attacking midfielder.

If it were me I'd have both of them in there. Cantona as part of a front three with Henry and Ronaldo. Le Tiss alongside Scholes and Gerrard in the centre. Back four and goalkeeper pretty much identical to the way the thread has voted.

Who'd have thought the best all time PL players would come from the best teams?

Time to start a new thread?

How about we just all post our own premiership XI with and without players from our supported team?

I can pick anybody as my team has barely ever had any decent players go on to the Premier League (other than Andy Cole who I wouldn't pick in an all time XI anyway).

How about you are not allowed to vote if you are an Arsenal, Spurs, Man Utd, Man City, Everton, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds or West Ham fan?

Maybe ask Glowy to set up another thread for fans of the other teams?

Only a Spurs fan, in a year when they're on course for a second successive top four place, would count (newly-promoted) West Ham amongst a list of "big" clubs.

Also not sure why Leeds are in there either.

I wasn't making a list of big clubs, just clubs that have historic enmity towards certain other Premier League teams, e.g. Leeds vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Ham. I'm sure there are more, just giving some examples.

Giggs almost certainly would.

Manchester United. But then again, I voted for Ashley Cole as best Left Back since he's the obvious choice so the point you are trying to make has fallen on its arse.

Giggs is consistently voted as the bet Left Winger ever in the Premier Leage in pretty much every pool I've ever seen for it, but lets just ignore that and put it down to personal bias, shall we?

Just out of interest, who did you vote for?
