Technically you're not supposed to bet on both sides of one market, but they've never been funny about it with me. If you're worried you can always cover your initial bet with a fiver on 0-0 with another bookie, this means you can use your in-play on whatever you like.

They're well within their legal rights to not refund the £50 in-play bet in that scenario FWIW.

Gone for u6.5 goals as my qualifier and covered it with o6.5 goals @ 21/1 on 888. No idea what my in-play bet is going to be, most of the possibilities seem very unappealing.

Yeah that's why I mentioned covering it elsewhere. I've never had a problem doing it though, and it's much less of a faff.

It's not a free bet token, it's a refund on your in play bet if you lose. Ie you need the full stake amount for both bets.

Ha, that would have been awful wouldn't it? Thankfully they were only offering 11/1 which seemed a little short so I haven't placed it yet. Will wait until it's around 14/1 before I go for it.

If both your bets lost then you'll only get the in play one refunded. Normally with the offer people will place their bets so that worst case scenario they end up scratch - e.g. Bayern draw no bet before the game starts, arsenal in play or something.

You're as well just taking advantage of the full £50 risk free bet amount in such a situation, although you need to deposit £100 (can withdraw after).

Yeah I would of gone for full proof bets if I'd placed higher bets. For some reason it would only let me deposit £5, thanks for the help chaps.
