So, over the years we have seen so many great reveals, announcements and unique moments at E3 but which ones stood out most for you?

For me nothing could beat the excitement and reaction to the announcement of LoZ: Twilight Princess at E3 2004

 Amazing!

I have yet so much at laugh at any live event as much as I did that night. It was incredible.

The move to pre-recorded videos last year really took a portion of the E3 magic away from me.

Have you really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

It's probably my favourite E3 moment, too. Read the GAF thread if you can, it's over 200 pages long. Just incredible, really. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=398561 Actual live show lasts from page 3 to 55 or something like that. I read the entire thread after the fact. :slol: No regrets.

Piss myself laughing at it every. damn. time.

With hilariously bad E3 conferences, I always wonder. Did whoever authorized them genuinely think they are putting up a good, "exciting", "in tune with the audience" show, or do they see these clowns and go "screw it, this year we're doing the viral thing, let them be as ridiculous and over-the-top as possible"? Cause if it's the latter, Konami for example succeeded.

I think the 3DS reveal at Nintendos conference a couple of years ago was fantastic, although the thing leaked they announced it very well showed a tonne of games and at the end had the stage lift up and loads of girls walk out to show and demonstrate the handheld, it was immense.

In terms of an 'OMG I want to be there' moment that's hard to top.

Also the Ubisoft conference from last year had some quality stuff in it, but more than that I think it was the most hilarious hour I experienced in 2012, though some of that had to do with this place.

I can't believe that's the first time i've seen that stuff  What's the deal with the creepy ass stare that Silent Hill dev gives his partner while he's talking - looks like he wants to gut the bastard from behind or something.. But yeah that Halo 2 demonstration that GlassjAw posted is one of my favourite moments. Made the game look a step up from Halo 1..only to find out that sequence wasn't actually in the game.

I think far eastern devs (or non native English speaking devs) do deserve some credit for trying to do their bit in English when it clearly isn't their first language (and does sometimes result in quite badly broken English). As Bite the Butter said though, with some of these god awful conferences and moments, it's hard to believe that the people organising them genuinely think they'd make for good segments/conferences.
