When you compare the N64 list to PS1 it really makes you think how the hell could Nintendo have lost that generation. So many amazing games.

The gamecube deserves better too, can't believe Kinect outsold it. People with bad taste. :dread:

Pretty much the same list I've seen a million times before. I guess when it comes down to it there is no debate over what are the best gamecube games.

There doesn't appear to be a #10 for the PSOne.

EDIT: Also, I think a link to the voting threads would be a good idea.

There is a number ten, its just two games received the same amount of votes which is why there's two number nines instead!

I really want to play double dash.

I'm surprised Tales of Symphonia did not make it in the top 20 GC games, it's the best RPG on the console IMO.

I think this thread has confirmed that the N64 and Gamecube are the two best and two most underrated consoles of all time.

I would have voted Resi Remake above Eternal Darkness and Pikmin 1 over Pikmin 2. Also Phantasy Star Online NEEDS to be in there! Also Twilight Princess, but I guess most people played that on Wii.

Good lists though.

Edit: just noticed PSO and TP in the fine print.

It's too late to vote now but i would have chosen these games.

Thanks to reading this thread while a little drunk last night, I am now signed up to eBay and bidding on about ten GameCube games. :fp:

Truly the greatest console ever. I wish I'd played Pikmin more. I could never handle losing the little fellas.

The popularity of what is in truth a rather shallow and slight fighting game is pretty baffling. Shouldn't even be in the top 50 Gamecube games.

Not sure you can call yourself that if you don't own TTYD.

List isn't too bad, but (other than removing Smash Bros) I'd have put Super Monkey Ball, Chibi Robo and DK Jungle Beat much higher if it'd been up to just me.

You can do a Hugo Recommends thread to go alongside this one where you tell us how wrong we are and how the list should look if you want.
