I've spoken to him, he said he may well set up a blog to share his thoughts and will get in on the Mumble action on Tuesday

Managed to set Mumble up on my laptop with the help of some PC wizards so I'm all ready for Tuesday 8-)

Are you going to join Banjo, Staydead and myself, Dalagonash?

I take it nobody kicked off with this today then, hopefully we'll get a good crowd for the Mumble tomorrow.

Just to be clear this weeks goal is the first spirit stone

I'll be able to start on either Wednesday or Thursday when I return home.

I can remember practically nothing about the game, bar the fact the locations were pretty stunning at the time, but the gameplay contained within was fairly vapid.

Wasn't it the JFG team behind the game as well? Damn, there's a game I'd like to re-playde. Bet it's aged terribly, mind (and it could do with two analogues, I reckon).

JFG is another game I never played but have always wanted to, it looked so interesting at the time, I can only imagine the reason I didn't get it was cost.

Well I've got my copy. Losers.

*edit* dunno about mumble whilst playing now, as I've set up my recording system but cannot seem to get it to work so I can record the game with sound, but also talk on mumble without broadcasting the game, bit of an issue that, so I may just play the game with my own narration and talk about it with you fine chaps after.

That said, my mic doesn't record well whilst playing anyway, so I may record my play session then rewatch and record convo with peeps on mumble whilst watching it back so what time is the mumble chat kicking off?

My copy still hasn't arrived. Should hopefully arrive sometime this week. Might need to play catch-up a bit.

was thinking, rather than talk whilst playing how about a podcast (or vid cast) where the players who want to get together at the end of the week to natter about the game so far, I'm recording so it would be possible to put the audio to some video to emphasize points or highlight locations, as no one wants to watch a video with me wandering around lost and people going 'erm, eer, so...' for ten minutes really.

We thought it was a good idea but ultimately the editing might be too much of a hassle if no one outside the thread has any interest in watching the end product.

I might be a bit late for the Mumble as I only just got home and need to shower as well, with the footy on it may even be worth pushing it back till 9 as that's when Banjo said he would turn up.

I'll probably come on at 9 to talk about the game so far.

Played about 90 minutes, impressed so far it looks very lush and it's good fun to play.

Mumble is cool as well though it was just me and Banjo tonight, hopefully we'll get more people when more copies start arriving.

Staydead should be ashamed of himself :fp:
