Please, if anyone has a proper suggestion for this, try your best to sell it. Offer up potential checkpoints, a timespan for completion (something like Luigi's Mansion would run for two weeks at best, I reckon) and generally make us want to follow you like a cult leader.

Could you move all of mine and Banjos votes to Timesplitters 2 please?

Poll is a good idea, probably best to keep the options limited too. The top 4 choices so far are Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, Psychonauts and Hitman BM so maybe put just those as options

That sounds like a good idea; we can add other games if they get enough support over the weekend.

I would be up for Paper Mario, never done a GRplayde before.

I suggest you all hurry up - I'm quite some way into the excellent Psychonauts and you'd all best start now if you're to catch up.

Put me down for Killer 7 or Eternal Darkness.

The reasons why it should be Paper Mario have been stated before, but let me reiterate:

Easily checkpointed: We do a Star Spirit each week.

Not too long for each week: Each Star Spirit is at most about 5, slow hours of play. You can segment this up easily.

A feeling of adventure: Paper Mario is big enough for a sense of accomplishment. Luigi's Mansion will be over by week 2.

Easily Obtained: A few of the gamecube suggestions would be very tricky to get hold of, legally. Even illegally it's not perfect. Paper Mario is on the VC, and emulates very well (obviously only emulate it if you already own a copy).

On top of the fact it's actually a very good game, with great humour and battle systems, it's clearly the only choice.

I can't see Luigi's Mansion winning if only because of the Gamecube-only problem. I'm hoping for Psychonauts myself but would be more than happy if Paper Mario wins

Seeing as shamefully, Eternal Darkness doesn't seem to be gaining much traction, I will vote for Hitman: Blood Money, as it's a game where we can all regale each other with tales of how we tackled each level, being that there are so many ways to approach them and it would be very interesting to read different methods/strategies. Perfect for Playde.

I'd have to emulate for Paper Mario and Luigi's.

Hitman is perfect for this. A level every 3 days. Enough time to get silent assassin on every level.

Since I'm down for two already you may as well stick me on Eternal Darkness as well

If we do Hitman I say there should be certain rules involved. You have to play for the perfect run, but if you mess up you're not allowed to restart - you have to try and salvage the mission, even if it ends up in a massive shoot out. The only time you're allowed to try again is if you die, unintentionally.
