Have gotten the first star and I am level 6 with Mario. Really liking this so far, really getting into it. Some of the dialouge is fantasticly funny, and Mario describing stuff to the Toads is great. Must. Play. More.

I will indeed wait, only started it about 9:30 though, so it's a short chapter, but for people with less time to game I suppose it'll be great. I usually have a couple of hours in the night.

Anyway, it's great so far. and what the hell is that wierd frog thing. It's no frog, it's frog gooseberry fool or something, ugly mofo indeed. I also like the bodygaurds of Mak (sp?) 'How about a thick lip to go with that ugly mustache?' I thought it was funny anyway!

I started it earlier and, at the moment, it's a bit of a slog. To be fair, it doesn't help that I was playing and surfing the net at the same time, thus not giving the game my full attention.

It just feels as old as it is. At the moment, the battles are woefully uninvolving, the world is awfully fuzzy and uninteresting and the whole game feels like "my first RPG". I don't find the script as engaging as Paper Mario either.

Still, I've played all of half an hour or so, so I'll keep plugging away. Once I get past the dated-ness of it all, it'll improve. I'd have been much more forgiving if I was playing it on a handheld though.

Just beat the first big boss in two moves with Mario. I got a 25 Chain Super Jump Special on him!
Just left Mushroom Kingdom now and have Mario at Level 7 and Mallow at Level 6

When does Chapter 1 ends? I just finished Mushroom Kingdom and I'm on way to
Kero Sewers
.

Also is there sidequests to do? Doesn't seem to be many compared to Paper Mario/Paper Mario TTYD...

You've reached the end. I just saved my game in the Kero Sewers. It's a shame it stops there, the chapter is really short and I would have liked to continued to meeting the second character you're set out to meet which is after another boss.

There are only a few side quests in this.

:( That was bloody short chapter! I was REALLY enjoying it, woke up at 5am (Only had 5hr sleep grrr) and decided to just play Super Mario RPG when joining this GRplayde at same time, only in end...it's short as hell.

Hope Chapter 2 is longer.

Go back and level up a bit, get both characters to level 7. Also, you can go back and try find the two hidden blocks around the castle. You have to stand on heads to get to them though.

Think Mario's Lv7 anyway but I'll have to check out the hidden blocks, cheers. Anything to pass time (I might load up Kirby 64 as well)

About 3.

This is just the first week we'll see how people get on before deciding to up the speed, but it's not like everybody is waiting around at the moment so don't count on it.

Alpha I'm sure you've got other things to be getting on with.
