If the poll was in the other Zelda thread, did it even say it was a decider for the Playde? People might have thought it was just a general "what's you favourite" question.

I'm not massively bothered if it's Ocarina; I'd much prefer Majora (I've only played through it once, and I currently don't have OOT onme) and that's where my vote would have gone. But I'd join in regardless of which game won.

My fear is, again, looking at the voting numbers and worrying that less than 50% will take part.

Run it for 24 hours or something, not just close it when a certain game is winning. Now, since we can't trust Herbi after these shenaningans (

), people should openly post their vote in the thread, no poll.

I may go through OOT myself, but I don't have the wii with me, so it would have to be over the 4 weeks I get for Christmas.

TBH MM is the only one I'd have to actually buy so I'm glad it didn't win.

Would have preferred Wind Waker over OOT though. WW is timeless.

As much as I want to play through OOT, having that poll open for less than eight hours doesn't give it much credibility, especially as we can't see the results for ourselves right now so have to take people's word for it. I think we should start a new thread where votes are either cast as individual posts or using the time limit option when creating a poll in a thread - that way there would be full accountability. A new thread would also help to make sure that everyone knows what the poll is about from the start and makes it less likely to be missed by people.

I'm not going to play through OoT again. Done it to death, so have a number of you. Thats why it's the epitome of everything GRplayde isn't.

And I even posted in the thread that MM was winning and Herbi posted soon after calling 'shenanigans'.

This definitely requires a legitimate poll. Also, I'm of the opinion that the game should be one that people may have forgotten or not appreciated as much as they should. That's why I voted for TP, but the best option is to opt for a non-Zelda game as no game in the series will have been underplayed by very many people.
