Nintendo's recent financial report has it listed for "1st half 2015" too.

I don't see the point in dropping the Wii U price, they must be at least breaking even on the current price, a price drop is going to do nothing for the fortunes of the system.

I sort-of like the idea of Giant Robot... when Miyamoto ran the demo and was flailing his arms around, it looked kinda fun... but I'm not expecting too much of it. It'll probably be a bit of a laugh for a while.

I think I'm damning it with faint praise. Hmmn, we'll see.

Project Guard was better as it was, Giant Robot needed a lot of work but had promise. It is a year on though

I'm looking forward* to seeing re-newed "I'll buy it when it's thirty quid. Including Zelda, Mario, Yoshi and Splatoon games. And four controllers."-type posts.

* I'm not. We're past 2013 now :-).

I'll be shocked if we don't see what Retro are doing. Not sure we will see more MK8 DLC but should get it confirmed. More details on Splatoons post launch support. First English presentations of Xenoblade X. Animal Crossing to be in 3D like the MK8 track (I can dream). First full gameplay of Star Fox. Will feature a special pre order edition where the skin of Andross is replaced by Miyamoto himself. This is called the Herbi edition.

Paper Mario to look amazing and feature a Wario and Waluigi side story as second rate villians. There plans scuppered at every turn as they arrive each time anticipating it to be a different Mario sports game. Leads into unexpected announcement of new Mario Strikers game. Will be next years online game. Can play as a whole team or individuals in a team. Use Gamepad for special shots and saves. Roster increased to include the likes of Link and Samus. Can Falcon Punch the ball into the net.

Giant Robot thing to initially confuse and underwhelm people. Then is shown by the Treehouse team and the minority discover its awesome.

Mention Zelda in one sentence. Then "please understand" in the next.

Next Level was either working on that or Luigi's Mansion 3, so it looks like we have our answer.

EDIT: I hope this isn't bullshit because my son is a massive Punch-Out fan and is now really excited that they might be doing it.

Regarding Next Level:

Another LinkedIn profile of a Next Level Games’ employee lists an “Unannounced” project that has a focus on story. Diego R. Pons profile lists “Story” as one of the things he is working on for this mystery Wii U game. Chances are the game won’t be something like Mario Strikers, or something where story isn’t somewhat of a focus. I’m hoping this is a brand new IP that shows off some of the talent and creative design Nintendo can do with a western studio. But it is totally possible this is a Luigi’s Mansion’s or based on a existing IP. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Did anyone really see that tweet and not immediately know it was Reggie anyway :lol:

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see anything from Retro at E3 tbh. It always seems like ages between announcements of their games. If they are there my money would be on the third part to the DK trilogy.

I'll be hugely surprised if we don't hear anything of Retro at E3. If we don't, I'll assume that it's because they're working on a launch title for the NX machine.
